The author of the new football system Unders & Overs has been kind enough to supply us with the system so that we can trial this football system live and see how it goes.

What is Unders & Overs Football System about?

As it says in the name of the system this is about betting on the Unders and Overs 2.5 goals. Actually it is just about betting on Over 2.5 goals since the author don’t recommend you bet on Unders very much.

You will get 3 things when you download Under and Overs Football system. You will get the manual containing the system rules and you will get a staking calculator and then there is a betting basics ebook for beginners who are new to betting.

The System manual are on 27 pages and is easy to read and understand so you can quickly get started.

The Staking Calculator tries to recoup a little bit of your loss (not everything) and go for 5 games. If you lose all then you start over, so you will never risk all your bank on a long losing run. The author says this also works with level stakes.

Unders and Overs Football system Review

I’m going to run a test of Unders & Overs football system for some time to see if the results are going to be as good as promissed. As always from these people there are not a lot of data to back up their claims - You just have to trust that it works (which it normally does not). But let’s see how it goes when we put it to the test.

The test results will come underneath when I start finding games qualifying :-)

Read the sales page for Unders and Overs football system here

Results of live test

week 1: 14 eligible matches - 11 was winning selections: PROFIT +7.17 Points

week 2: Tuesday 4 eligible matches (2 won 2 loss): Minus 0.27 Points

Total profit / loss: +6.9 points (1 point can be anything you wich to bet)

Please read the comments below to see the matches and some more great analysis done by Marc :-)

Week 3: Friday 28th Nov - Sunday 30th Nov 4 eligible matches (2 Won 2 Lost): Minus 0.30 Points.

Week 4: Friday 5th Dec - Sunday 7th Dec 16 Eligible Matches (7 Won 9 Lost) Minus 2.72 Points.

Total Profit / Loss: (To Date) +3.88 points.

Week 5: Friday 12th Dec - Sunday 14th Dec 8 Eligible Matches (4 Won 4 Lost) Plus 0.28 Points.

Total Profit / Loss: (To Date) +4.16 Points.

Week 6: Friday 19th Dec - Sunday 21st Dec 13 Eligible Matches (6 Won 7 Lost) Minus 0.98 Points.

Total Profit / Loss: (To Date) +3.18 Points.

SUMMARY. (We Examined 391 Matches).

FINAL REVIEW OF OVERS AND UNDERS SYSTEM

If we had bet on EVERY match as an over we would have won +5.43 Points.

Using our Overs system we won +3.18 Points.

Although this system has had its moments, there is really no long term advantage in using this system.

Breaking down the analysis by league we have:

English Premier Overs System +2.21 (Every Match -2.29)

English Championship -1.85 (-0.90)

Scottish Premier -2.00 (-4.27)

Italian Serie A -1.85 (+1.30)

French +1.84 (+0.14)

Spanish -0.34 (+8.61)

Dutch +1.88 (-0.46)

German +3.39 (+3.29)

So I guess you could say that it is probably best to use this system on the English Premier matches.

The other conclusion that can be drawn is that a good system is to bet Overs on ALL La Liga and Bundesliga matches……But i guess we all knew that already.r money.

The system will go to NOT RECOMMENDED since it does not offer you any advantage at all so save your money.

This is the system I sent a warning email about yesterday!

  2. Mark on November 18th, 2008 8:47 pm

    Hi Jon,

Just wondering, what the the email warning for?

    Mark.

  3. admin on November 18th, 2008 8:59 pm

He said that it was very similar to another system (football loophole).

  4. Jon on November 18th, 2008 9:22 pm

Yes, this system is almost a copy of part of Football Loophole and based on three bets I have made, following the rules exactly, is not very good either.

Yesterday there were 5 possible matches of which 4 failed to qualify (of which 3 would have been winning bets) One match qualified and finished as a losing bet.

Today I found 2 matches and one of them, still in play, will be a losing bet. The other has not yet kicked off.

    Not impressed

    Jon

  5. admin on November 18th, 2008 9:28 pm

Jon=> Which games is it that you have found?

  6. Jon on November 18th, 2008 9:41 pm

Yesterday it was Empori v US Grosseto (Italy B) Bet on over 2.5 Result 1-1

Today it was LKS Lodz v Legia Warsaw (Poland) Bet on under 2.5 present score 2-2

Also bet on Rochdale v Barnet (UK FA cup) over 2.5 - probably end up 0-0!!

    Jon

  7. Jon on November 18th, 2008 9:54 pm

The LKS Lodz match just finished at 2-3 ! Hardly an under 2.5 bet although all system rules followed exactly.

    Jon

  8. Jon on November 18th, 2008 10:24 pm

Rochdale/Barnet is 0-2 at the moment so maybe this bet will win!

    Hi Jon,

I had exactly the same reaction when I bought the system last week and immediateky asked for a refund. I sent an email to the author(s) who told me there was to parts in the system : one is pure tipping (yearly subscription) and the other is for practical use. I am not 100% convinced.
However, I disagree with you regarding the results.
8 out of 10 this week-end with a pretty high avg odd (1.86 if I remember correctly).
Besides, on the two selections you mention above, they shouldn’t be qualified.
It is mentionned one should bet in major leagues only (I know it because I had made this wrong bet too on Empoli and I double checked the manual yeserday). I agree with the author says it should work in all leagues thouhh but major leagues are more consistent.
I only have 10 matches in test, only runiing for a week so It’s too early to say if It’s working or not.

    Best
    Chris

Sorry for both my English and typing errors..

  11. admin on November 19th, 2008 10:40 am

The authior recommends sticking with the following leauges:

English premiership and championship, italian seri A, spanish primera, gemran bundesliga, French ligue 1, Duthc eresdivisie, scottish premiership.

I won’t test his “unders” system since he really does not recommend it. I will also only test in the leagues above.

  12. Jon on November 19th, 2008 2:21 pm

I may have misread about the leagues so will test again with the major leagues although he does say it should work on other professional leagues.

Anyway, I won on the Rochdale/Barnet game so I’m only slightly unimpressed now!

@Chris I only started on Monday and will look again this weekend. I would be delighted if the system works but I am annoyed that it is a 90% copy of part of Football Loophole!

    Jon

  13. admin on November 19th, 2008 2:26 pm

Anyone who finds qualifiying socces matches in one of the leagues mentioned and within the odds range and also the other rules please post your results here so we can cover as many games as possible.

    Please also state the odds.

We will only test the OVER system.

In this way I think that we will be able to get most of the games covered :-)

Thanks for all your help to those who has the system and posts the results :-)

  14. Mark on November 19th, 2008 3:29 pm

I already have the Football Loophole, so I’m guessing there is no point in buying the Unders/Overs system?

Is it the exact same criteria for selecting matches? Also, is the staking calculator that they mention any good? I’ve already got a couple of decent ones anyway and they are easy enough to find online.

I heard that the author only recommends the over 2.5 market and not the unders market.

If the selection criteria is the same as in the Football Loophole I’m happy to help you guys out and post my results and findings. I’ll try and keep a personal log of the Under 2.5 market just for my reference and see how it goes.

  15. chris on November 19th, 2008 4:19 pm

I only had time to check Italian Serie A, English Premiership, Spanish Primera Division, German Bundesliga and French Ligue 1
    7 selections Over 2.5 Goals
    Karlsruhe/Dortmund @ 1.7
    Schalke/M.GladBach @ 1.7
    Wolfsburg/Stuttgart @ 1.65
    Frankfurt/Hannover @ 1.8
    Mallorca/Malaga @ 1.9
    Gijon/Betis @ 1.9
    Portsmouth/Hull @ 1.93

    Hope it helps

  17. admin on November 19th, 2008 5:11 pm

When are these games? (sorry don’t have time to look myself right now.)

  18. chris on November 19th, 2008 6:22 pm

@ Mark : I don’t think it’s useful to buy this system. Rules ar slightly different but it uses the same idea overall. However, they may send the selections on a weekly basis (they apparently received requests) which may be very interesting as it can take a long time (I would say at least 30 min for all the European leagues mentionned in the manual). It can be a plus.

@ Admin : All these matches are scheduled for this week-end.

  19. admin on November 19th, 2008 6:33 pm

    Thanks Chris ;-)

Mark=> Try to see how it goes and how the results are with the Football Loophole system. If this is better and it actually surprises us and shows a profit after a good test periode then maybe you could buy it. But have patience and see how it goes with this test and how many selections are different from what you get.

  20. Mark on November 19th, 2008 7:40 pm

Cheers for the quick response guys.

I’ll just follow with interest for now, thanks Chris for posting the selections for us that way we can all keep track of them and how they go over a decent period.

I’m just paper trading the Football Loophole system at the moment as I’ve only had it a short time, some farily interesting ideas in there though. I’ve seen a few positive reviews for it, but I don’t believe anyone has done a review of it on this website yet?

  21. Jon on November 19th, 2008 8:32 pm

Just checked England Championship and Scotland Premier which are both recommended leagues.

All games to be played 22 Nov. Latest Betfair price for over 2.5 goals.

    Eng Champ Preston NE/Barnsley 2.12
    Scot Prem Kilmarnock/Inverness CT 2.08
    Scot Prem Rangers/Aberdeen 1.71

    Jon

  22. Frank on November 19th, 2008 10:14 pm

Ok, I bought this system and make good results last weekend with the OVER (6 out of 9) and bad results with the UNDER (1 out of 3).

So I also only go on with the OVER System. With the right tools you only need 10-15 minutes to pick up the qualifying games for the next weekend:

    Dutch
    21.11. Volendam - Roda JC; 1,55
    23.11. Alkmaar - Ajax; 1,55
    23.11. Feyenoord - Den Haag; 1,45

    England
    22.11. Portsmouth - Hull; 2,08
    22.11. Preston - Barnsley; 2,15

    Germany
    21.11. Karlsruhe - Dortmund; 1,74
    22.11. Frankfurt - Hannover; 1,90
    22.11. Schalke - Gladbach; 1,73
    22.11. Wolfsburg - Stuttgart; 1,67

    France
    23.11. Monaco - Le Mans; 2,38

    Italy
    23.11. Napoli - Cagliari; 1,99

    Spain
    23.11. Gijon - Betis; 2,04
    23.11. Mallorca - Malaga; 1,95

    Scotland
    22.11. Kilmarnock - Inverness; 2,09
    22.11. Rangers - Aberdeen; 1,70

Some prices are to low/high at the moment, but there is a bit of time until kickoff.

    Frank

  23. chris on November 20th, 2008 12:55 am

Frank is right. You can do the selection much faster (without omitting any matches!).

I had used http://www.soccerway.com but another site (www.H2Hstats.com) is more convenient.

  24. chris on November 20th, 2008 12:59 am

    @Frank

Monaco - Le Mans shouldn’t be selected (not within the good range)

  25. Marc Chawner on November 20th, 2008 2:41 am

If any one is interested, here are the UNDERS predictions for the weekend……

    Premier:

    Middlesbrough/Bolton

    Championship:

    Forest/Norwich

    Scottish:

    Dundee/Hamilton
    Motherwell/Hibernian

    Italy:

    Torino/AC Milan

    French:

    Caen/Auxerre
    Grenoble/Le Havre

    Dutch:

    NAC/NEC

    German:

    Hamburg/Werder

Mind you, it is a very brave person who goes unders on a German match seeing that the Bundesliga is averaging 3.04 goals per match this season.

In fact it is only Serie A (2.32) and Ligue 1 (2.24) who have an average significantly below 2.5 goals per match.

But to be fair, the author of the system does advise caution on the UNDERS system.

    Good Luck

  26. Jon on November 20th, 2008 1:25 pm

The worst part of this system is making sure you select the right teams from Soccerway! So many European clubs have initials in front and I couldn’t find Gijon or Betis anywhere on Soccerway!

    Think I’ll try H2H

Anyway, I´ve backed them all so please put your bets on so I can trade off before kick off!! :-))

    Jon

  27. Marc Chawner on November 20th, 2008 4:54 pm

    Further to my comment 25……

Technically NAC v. NEC does NOT now meet the “Unders” criteria……

I didn’t realise this Dutch League has play-off matches at the end of the season.

  28. PC on November 20th, 2008 8:38 pm

Can you tell me if this system is a purely mathematical formula or does it depend on up to date team news before making selections.
    PC

  29. Jon on November 20th, 2008 9:00 pm

    PC

I suppose the simple answer is that it is based on recent results for the two teams.

    Jon

  30. PC on November 21st, 2008 1:17 pm

Jon, Thank you for your reply.
If it is purely matematical and only based on recent results ( not historcal results from previuous seasons)
my idea would be to write a test program using data from Soccerways or Betexplorer . I could apply the formula
to games already played & see what the results to date would be. As long as the information required is from
the current season and not around player selection etc I could do this.
I would be prepared to buy the product & carry out the trail but can someone confirm the guarantee is valid.
I,like so many others have fallen foul to previous systems where the “guarantee” is worthless.

    PC

  31. admin on November 21st, 2008 2:05 pm

PC=> Since it’s over Clickbank there should be no problems with a refund if the system is bad :-)

  32. Jon on November 21st, 2008 2:13 pm

    PC

From what you say, you should be able to back test as you describe. The system has nothing to do with players or managers.

    Jon

  33. Joe Sixpack on November 21st, 2008 8:17 pm

Well i own a copy of that System,…… basicaly the approach taken there makes sense…… The added Software Calculator is a nice gimmick….. but still over / unders betting is no exact science (i agree with the author there :)…..

All in all its a nice addition to my Portfolio,…. but i use the System rules with some slight modifications…. time will tell.

    Cheers

  34. PC on November 21st, 2008 9:10 pm

I will purchase the system over the weekend and have a look at the system rules. I will start the script early next week, hope to have some results towards the end of the week.

  35. Jon on November 22nd, 2008 6:57 pm

    Qualifying bets for 21 and 22 Nov = 9

    Winning bets 7
    Losing bets 2
    Strike Rate 78%

I achieved +3.77 points net of 5% Betfair commission. A good start and another 6 qualifying bets tomorrow (subject to price rules for 3 matches)

    Jon

  36. Marc on November 23rd, 2008 3:48 am

It is a great idea of yours PC, to backtrack previous months or even years of matches.

However, you do have to remember that the odds are quite important.

It is all well and good to find that the system has a 60% strike rate, but if the odds on these matches is only 1.5 then you are looking at a loss.

Similarly, just because the system only has a 50% strike rate it does not mean that it is no good, because the odds maybe consistently 2.20.

I would think it would be quite difficult to historically track down the odds of the relevant matches……?

  37. Steve on November 23rd, 2008 5:24 pm

    Marc

Historic odds available at football-data.co.uk or easily parsed from sites like Betexplorer.

Although I doubt very much the authors of this ’system’ have bothered checking. I requested past results from them and guess what - nothing.

  38. Marc on November 24th, 2008 12:18 am

I guess it is GOOD news and BAD news for our new OVERS system for the weekend just gone.

Obviously the good news was that out of the 14 eligible matches (I am afraid we have to ignore the Feyenoord/ADO Den Haag match) we had 11 winning selections which gave us, after 5% commission, a tremendous profit of +7.17 points.

In isolation that looks really impressive.

    Now the bad news……

If I had placed a 1 point trade on ALL 75 matches at the weekend on the overs market blind……

    Wait for it……

I would have won +10.37 points.

This is based on BetFair backable prices at mid-night prior to the match (I emphasise that this was not necessary the optimum price, just a backable price at mid-night prior to the match). 5% commission deducted on all winnings trades.

There were 215 goals in the 75 matches giving an average of 2.87. This is very much higher than the current season average of 2.64.

Using the http://www.soccerstats.com mathematical predictions the return would have been +3.28 points.

Basically any system would have performed well this weekend…..

I am afraid the jury are still out at the moment.

I will conduct the same analysis next week……

  39. admin on November 24th, 2008 9:40 am

Great work Marc :-) Looking forward to next weekend :-)

  55. Marc on November 26th, 2008 9:41 pm

Just for comparison sake we have:-

    Overs System -0.18

Betting OVERS Blind on ALL matches +0.62

    Soccer Stats (Mathematical Calculation) +1.69

All based on odds taken at midnight pre match and 5% on commission on winning bets.

    11 Matches 27 Goals Average 2.45

    Season Average 2.52 (For Championship)

  56. Jon on November 27th, 2008 12:27 am

So, from what Marc is saying, you might just as well bet blind on all matches!

@Marc: can you explain why the points are better using soccer stats rather than just betting on all matches? How do you calculate that method?

    Thanks

    Jon

  57. Marc on November 27th, 2008 4:29 am

    Hi Jon,

If you go to the website http://www.soccerstats.com

On the homepage you will see all the leagues.

If you click on the “Predictions” for say the Premier League.

In Green there is a mathematical prediction on whether the match should finish as an under or an over.

There is a little write up saying that the prediction is based on the relative strengths between the two teams at a given moment.

I must admit that I have not followed these kind of predictions much in the past, but I just thought I would include it just so that there is some kind of benchmark so we can compare the predictions thrown up by our overs system and the predictions derived by supposedly some mathematical formula.

At the moment, as you say, you may as well bet blind. However, after a few more weeks of analysis we should get a better picture……?

    -Marc

  58. admin on November 27th, 2008 12:21 pm

Marc has now taken over the test of this system since he is finding the selections anyway and doing a good job comparing the results.

I would appreciate it very much if someone could post up the overs selections at some stage so that I can check them against my selections.

I did purchase the Unders & Overs System & wrote a program based on the rules looking at archived results . However the
system does specify bets with odds between 1.6 & 2.2 .I used Betexplorer for archived results but unfortunately they do not archive the over/under odds. Although I have produced results for several leagues so far I feel it would be totally unfair to publish these as I have not been able to incorporate all the rules.

If there are any purely mathematical systems that I could assist to test please let me know, I would be willing to
    check these out.

Fair enough and always a pity when odds/prices are not archived. Could you simply indicate the average strike rate for the under and over 2.5 goals?

At least then we would know if the system is viable using the price range specified in the book.

    Cheers
    Jon

    Thanks for doing that…..

I agree ENTIRELY with your selections (Although I can’t see the Weder Bremen match getting into the odds range).

I am not quite sure what final rule you can be talking about Frank because I agree totally with Brendan’s selections……

Have you tried looking at football-data.co.uk? I’ve used the spreadsheets this supplies to parse out some data to test some ideas I had (they didn’t work!).

It only supplies league stats for about 20 leagues (no cups), but supplies Betbrain max and average odds for the under/over 2.5 markets.

Betexplorer have archived odds for the past 2 seasons, past 3 for some leagues. You should have data for 06-07, 07-08 and the current season.

I have yet to receive a reply for my request for past results from the system’s author. I wonder why!!!

  69. Marc on November 28th, 2008 5:28 pm

    Hi Brendan,

I know rules are rules but I am not convinced about this last rule.

Firstly it is very difficult to spot.

Secondly, it is like saying that if RED comes up on a roulette wheel for the first two spins then don’t bet on RED for the third spin.

To me I would be betting on RED since there is an obvious trend as far as the roulette wheel is concerned.

This logic surely must be applied to our overs system…?

    “A Trend is your Friend”……?

I know that I will miss this final rule, so you are going to have to remind me of this rule.

IB, are you saying that the Stade/PSG falls down on the last rule……?

  70. Jon on November 28th, 2008 7:10 pm

Just so those of us who have bought the system are clear, what rule are you on about?

There are two rules for the home team and four rules for the away team. Let’s say there are six rules and refer to them by number.

Hi Jon in response to your message in post 45. I apologise for the delayed response. I didnt have Sheffield Wednesday qualifying on rule 1, 3 or 4. I used prematches.com to check the league results required and the answer I got were rule 1= 6, Rule 3 only in 1 and rule 4 only 1 game complied. Remember only league results apply not cup results. But you can back check on prematches.com if you change the date back to Tuesdays date and click on the game, wheel the page down to the results and it lists the last 10 results both for the home team results and away team results. Hope this helps explain why I thought that fixture didnt meet the selection criteria.

    Hi Terry,
Thanks , I was not aware of the detail data at football.co.uk. When I get time I will have a closer look.

    Jon,
your request for the data I have gathered so far. As this is based on the Under/Over system I feel it best not to provide the detail unless its approved. Admin, do you see any issues in providing results I have achieved using the mathematical rules only from the system. I dont know if there are any ramifications from the author. I would be providing results using his six mathematical rules, but to give an opinion on this system whilst not using ALL the rules may not be fair to the system.
    Any thoughts ?

  75. Stewboss on November 29th, 2008 12:42 am

I wrote a spreadsheet that automatically selects the matches for this system.

I’ve backtested the whole season so far using the recommended leagues and odds from http://www.football-data.co.uk.

The system just about breaks even to level stakes.

Basically, it’s no good. I’ll be getting a refund!

    It looks like the Stade/PSG
game will not meet the odds range, when I did the selections, there was no liquidty in betfair, so couldt not judge what the odds would be , this is the only reason why this game could not be a selection, I think?

  80. MarkW on November 29th, 2008 3:36 pm

    Hi Jon

Just checked the Preston Bristol City match and you are right rule 4 is where it falls down. Prematches.com have the wrong score in for the game they played with Barnsley they have 2-1 instead of 0-0 which is where I got my selection wrong.

  81. Jon on November 30th, 2008 5:30 pm

Well, this system has really shown how useless it is. Of the qualifying games on 29 November, only one winning bet. Three matches ended 0-0, 1-0 and 1-1. This is a total of 3 goals scored where the system expects at least 9.

Of the three games today, one has already lost finishing 1-1 and the other two play later.

Not at all convinced by the selection rules

Back to “Lay the Draw” I guess!

  82. Dave on November 30th, 2008 8:55 pm

This system is by the Rochdale gang, famous for there system conveyor belt that churns out useless system after useless system on a weekly basis, none of which ever make a profit, all of which are suspected scams.

A list of just some of there scam products are below.

There easy to spot, all the sites look almost the same, and they are all registered to the Rochdale gang who live at Rochdale Road, Manchester.

Anyone with even one brain molecule shuld see that if someone can churn out this many systems and about 3 every month on a regular basis then there is something very fishy indeed!

Its people like this that give honest system sellers a bad name.

In fairness to the Rochdale gang, I think we should test all these systems.

What do you think Admin? :-))

    Jon

  85. Marc on December 1st, 2008 1:27 am

Well it certainly was a BAD week for the Overs backers, with just 173 goals in the 73 matches. An average of just 2.37 compared with the season to date average of 2.62.

I guess if VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga draw 0-0, then something must be wrong. Prior to their match on Saturday, they had played in only ONE match this season which had less than 3 goals.

Just as difficult this week was trying to work out which matches actually met the criteria.

If we are following the rules strictly then, by my reckoning only four matches met the criteria at kick-off.

    Namely:-

    Hertha Berlin v. FC Koln
    Charlton v. Southampton
    Lille v. Lorient
    Ath Madrid v. Racing Santander

Although a lot would argue that the Celtic match could be included since CentreBet had held their price of 1.67 up until Fiday lunchtime.

I still personally think that the Valencia and Borussia Mglad matches should have been included (BOTH ended Overs).

However, based on the FOUR predictions above we have….

Overs, Blind on ALL matches -16.55 Points

Overs, using Soccerstats website -6.28 Points

The New Overs System -0.30 Points

Just for the record, the Unders predictions showed a profit of just 0.04 Points. Seeing that there were so many unders matches at the weekend, not a great return.

There is now a ridiculous number of past systems and e-books that this group has been
behind, and something needs to be done. Until then though, we will continue to list
them all here for you to avoid completely.
All our research and feedback from others indicates none of the systems from this
outfit live up to their billing. The fact that they are responsible for so many duplicate
websites and systems indicate they are not to be taken seriously. Take the time to look
at a few of their websites and some of the common themes.
Things to watch out for from the Rochdale Road Gang
    • Slick sales-letter content, often in a similar format and design.
    • Usually an e-book sold by clickbank and priced in US dollars.
    • Promoted by the same group of people with Kristian Jackman & Stephen
    Brookes very prominent.
    • Regular emails which follow a similar pattern and claims of huge profit betting
    for very little work.
    • Limited edition of products for sale
    • Testimonials from connected individuals on the website
    • 8 week money back guarantee (this is provided by clickbank anyway)

  87. Jon on December 1st, 2008 1:49 pm

Both Borussia Mglad and Valencia qualified.

BM 1.97 at midday on Saturday and Valencia 1.82 three hours before kick off on Sunday, both prices matched on Betfair.

    Hi Jon,

Just to reiterate what has been said earlier. That is, per the “Final Rule” which states a team cannot be regarded as a selection for a third week in a row, both the two matches that you have mentioned were NOT eligible.

To me, it seems like a silly rule……

But we are monitoring the system per the official rules.

  89. Jon on December 1st, 2008 4:26 pm

    Hi Chris

I have only used prematches.com for about a week. I am not a member but when using the overs/unders system I find it useful that they list the home and away teams last 10 league games in order. This is useful for quick checking system selections. I did find a score that had been recorded incorrectly though. But I contacted the site owner and he updated it quickly.

    Hope this helps.

Brendan or anyone, have you come up with a list yet……?

    Thanks.

  93. Jon on December 4th, 2008 5:46 pm

Here are the overs matches I have found for this weekend subject to Betfair prices being within the system range.

Also, I think the “Final Rule” is a bit daft. After all, people will start using the system on different dates and so what might be a no bet for some will be a first bet for others!

    Jon

  94. Marc on December 4th, 2008 7:17 pm

    Hi Jon,

You had TWO that I did NOT have, so thanks for that.

However, I do have two from Spanish La Liga:-

    Deportivo La Coruna v. Malega

    Numancia v. Almeria

(Remember to focus JUST on La Liga “History”).

I agree with you Jon, that the “Last Rule” does NOT make sense. I am very tempted to ignore the last rule for the purpose of “Means Testing” this system. (It would make my like easier as well, because I NEVER spot the last rule).

    What does everyone else think?

  95. admin on December 4th, 2008 8:04 pm

I also think the rule is stupid, especially when it is not backed up with any good backtesting.

  96. Jon on December 4th, 2008 8:59 pm

Yes, I missed those two in La Liga! So are we saying there are potentially 19 selections this wekend?

I say ignore the final rule as I cannot see how it will affect the probability of the match being over.

It may be the author had a bad run which he attributed to the final rule so included it in the system?

    Jon

    Jon

  97. Marc on December 5th, 2008 3:13 pm

Yes Jon, 19 matches this weekend, however, tonight’s German game looks as if the odds will not meet the criteria.

I just hope there is some kind of POSITIVE correlation between the colder it is, the more goals there are in the matches.

I wonder if we can backtest to see if the temperature has any bearing on the amount of goals we can expect.

You would have thought that the temperature would be a factor, but it is difficult to evaluate whether cold temeratures generate more or less goals…..?

  98. admin on December 5th, 2008 3:18 pm

Marc=> I think that the temperature maybe has some influence but a lot of backtesting would be needed to find out.

The reason could be that there are more injuries because the fields are not very good which makes it harder to compare the earlier results.

Another reason could be that the playing fields tend to be very damgaged this time of year which makes it hard to play beautifull soccer.

But hey these reasons could also talk for less goals -

    Conclusion - I don’t have any idea :-(

  99. chris on December 5th, 2008 3:47 pm

    Hi guys,

I need to say I don’t agree with you guys on the fact that the last rule (Rule 4 for away team to be sure we speak about the same rule) makes no sense.

It could be explained by a kind of trend ot the number of goals and therefore could be used as an additionnal “filter” (Not sure it can be proofed by the authors as no back tests have been provided).

    Chris

  100. Jon on December 5th, 2008 4:14 pm

    Admin,
Could you please comment on this issue. I recently purchased two systems (amongst others) The Football Loophole System and the Overs and Unders Betting System. I tested both and found them to be not what they claimed. I requested a refund initially on the Football Loophole System & then on the Overs and Unders System that we had been reviewing. Both refunds were completed.
I have however since received an email from a Mr Brookes ( I take it from the company that produces the above two products) claiming
I was abusing the refund policy & threatening me that Clickbank would will ban me form further purchases. I did email back to Mr Brookes & to Clickbank stating that the 60 Day guarantee is an integral part of any online purchasing system.
I have purchased other items ( ebook system ) using Clickbank & have not requested a refund as I find they have some merit.
I would like to ask if any others in this review community have had similar issues.

So far i only gathered 29 Sample Bets since buying this E Book, but the good news is that i am in Profits on Flat Stakes (taking into Account Comission !),…. its all a bit tiny and i guess i will need much more Bets to come to a final conclousion :).

4 Matches were Over, 4 Matches were Under.

I think we can conclude this system is a failure. With a present strike rate of just 56% betting at odds on or evens at best, it is unlikely to make long term profits.

Really we should all apply to Clickbank for a refund on the same day to give the system seller a flea in his ear for yet another scam.

I Stumbled upon a “Fact” on the Web,… sadly the page where i read that gives no clue how they came upon this.

They say that generaly Football matches finish Over (2.5) in 55% of all cases,… where unders occur in 45%.

So if we just take every Overs bet that we manage to get at Odds of 2.30 we could all get away with a long term Profit :) Great isnt it :)

Joe you can’t make that conclusion. Wish it was so easy :-)

  122. Jake on December 16th, 2008 9:16 pm

so wats the prognosis? ive started testing unders & overs last week, should i continue or consign it to the bin?

  123. Joe Sixpack on December 16th, 2008 9:17 pm

Yeah,… wish it would be that easy :(

My Next Over Bet for my modified System Version takes of in about 15 Minutes.

Blyth vs. Bournemouth, for anyone whos interested… :)

Jake=> I would not use it with real money it seems like it does no bet than just betting blindly on all matches.

  125. Jake on December 16th, 2008 9:55 pm

Cheers admin, i dont use any real money until ive tested a system, ive learned the hard way!

seems like unders/overs is not worth the effort! not hard knowing its from stephen brookes!

Great: Final Scoreline 1-0,…. that didnt live up to the expectations,….

Ok here are my thoughts thus far (just browsed through my notes):

This System on its own seems to be pretty much a 50/50 Affair…so i assume a long term Profit on Flat Stakes is somehow unlikely. The suggested minimum Odds Range in the Manual is set to low in my opinion, one needs higher odds to get anything out of this.

My tip would be to combine the Method in the Manual with further assesment of other vital Fixture parameters (Class/Form/Motivation etc.) to get a more precise Goal Forecast and to boost the strike rate to a profitable level.

So all in all this Manual gets a 4 out of 10 rating from me (with one Point deducted just for the redicolous overexegerated claims on the sales page :) ).

    Cheers

Guys i have been profiting from this and let me tell you how.

You need to use the calculator in order for this to work.

You need to split your bank into theoretical portions. You need to then do your selections and split into ‘groups’ and then run different instances of the calculator. Then with different kick off times/different days you just keep using it.

I have used this for 25 days now and i have yet to have a full losing sequence so in my opinion this is a good way of using it.

    65 Matches this week. 182 Goals. Average = 2.80.
    Season average = 2.65.

13 Matches met the selection criteria for OVERS.

6 Matches were Over, 7 Matches were Under.

Betting Blind on ALL Overs Matches +3.75 Points.

Betting With Soccer Stats Predictions -3.28 Points.

Betting With Overs System -0.9 Points.

I think this just about wraps up the test for this system.

See my conclusion within the review up above.

Blooming heck! That sounds great but rather complicated! I thought systems were supposed to make life easier. Sounds to me as if you need to be a whizz at maths to do it your way!

No criticism intended - good luck if it works for you.

So i guess its back to Martingaling/loss recovery betting as far as over under 2.5 Goals is concerned,… at least i didnt manage to pick 4 consecutive Unders in a row using my own Selection criteria thus far… :)

    Damn
