From Monday 15 June I will do a review of The Life system. The Life system is a backing system for which you need the Racing Post or Racing Post website to find selections.
The seller states it takes him 40 minutes to find selections.
In October of last year, The Life System was reviewed on this site, and was put in the “Not Recommended” section.. The reason:- the system was no longer being sold, and some back checking showed poor results.
But now its back, NEW AND IMPROVED.
I didn`t see the original, so I don`t know what is new or what is improved.
There are two staking plans, the first is stop at 1pt. profit, the other continue betting all day.
On first reading the system, it seems doable (yes, thats a word) and seems to have great potential, but its also very time consuming
SAW could be fun, but staking plan 2, betting all day, I`m not too sure. We will see.

ADMIN NOTE: I have decided to remove the results since they were not showing the real results possible since SP is quite lower than Betfair SP. However, no matter what the small test showed a loss both to SP and BSP.
Final thoughts about The Life System
I really wanted this system to work, to bring good news would have been great.
Firstly lets look at the marketing of the system, price will go up at midnight, only so many available etc. this is so annoying and this type of nonsense should immediately disqualify the product from being bought. Also it should be noted that there is no money back guarantee with this product.
Now the system. As you back more than one horse in a race, losses mount up and you have to rely on a big price winner to get it back. If that winner doesn`t come you are in trouble. Staking plan 1 has a stop loss of 15 pts. if its reached, it can take you up to 15 days to get it back, usually less. Provided of course you don`t hit another before you have recouped your loss. The second staking plan has no stop loss. It is very time consuming, you have to be at your computer, or bookies all day, always watching prices and looking for non runners.
ADMIN: I’m still not convinced about this system. Furthermore, I don’t like the seller James Fitzmaurices way of doing business (and he probably don’t like mine). This is a very controversial system, I would never use it with real money myself but some people seems to be happy with it. It goes to neutral because it has had some good results on other review sites , but I don’t like it personally

Sorry to disappoint you Jane, but I think you will find the “Horsepower System” is completely fabricated.
You only have to go into your link and scroll half-way down the page to the Screenshot of “One Day” profits of 11th June.
If you click on the statement…
It says that the Horseracing has made in excess of £2,600 for the day……If you add add the profit/loss figures down the right hand side of the page, you will find that they do not add up to this total.
Basically, the screen has been completely “Made Up”……

I don’t know what rules you are following but your results are not accurate. For example today’s strategy 2 made 18 points. Also the 20/1 winner you mention (Trouble Mountain) was BSP 34.7
Are you aware of all the qualifying rules, in particular the RPR rule? If not it might be fairer to the author if you contacted him for a copy.
Since 9th June strategy 1 is up 40 points and strategy 2 around 96 points.
Details of all qualifying races and winners are posted on the sales website daily.

Hi there Mark, am watching this one with interest, esp given all the hype about this system elsewhere on the internet!
One point – when you list the results for each staking plan, are they the results for that day only, or are they cumulative to date figures?
Which it is, they certainly seem to yoyo about… maybe this is only a system for punters with a very strong constitution??

If you had followed the correct rules and reported results to BSP (system is based on Betfair prices not SP) you would have had the following outcome this week:
Strategy 1 +4.49
Strategy 2 -29.93
Your review damages a system but only by being an inaccurate review – go to the forum at http://www.jamesfitzmaurice.com/forum/ and see comments there from people who have bought the system and are using it properly!
Since release, the system is presently at +45.49 for strategy 1 and +71.16 for strategy 2 in just 13 days.
Where are your detailed results showing each race, why it qualified or was disqualified as a bet, plus the ongoing race by race points tally?

Plan 1 has got him up almost 50pts and plan 2 has him at almost 89pts??
To be honest i doubt that it is possible to make such profits in such a short period of time because Odds dont work that way,… i certanly cant rule it out especialy with not knowing the system,…. but if this Profits are real (Big IF here) they will almost certainly level out to a more realistic level…..
Or maybe its just a super System

gosh this system certainly makes people fight.
it’s hard to understand, from an externa perspective, how this site gets SUCH negative results, when others report such spectacular ones? Mind you, the gap between SP and BSP can be enormous for long shots, so I guess that’s a big part, but still.
My concern is the lack of a money back guarantee… plus it does all sound a bit vague (e.g. their website says you can use evening racing but you shouldn’t normally. Or something. What sort of system is this!??).
My bottom line though is: I don’t feel enlightened, just confused. As Joe Sixpack suggests, nothing is THAT ‘too good to be true’, but still there is a hell of difference between the results Mark is reporting, and what the so-called independent reviewer is quoting. Any clues as to why?? (leaving aside out-and-out cynicism for a moment!??)

Absolute joke.
The system relies on betfair price changes.
Therefore in todays age, betfair is used and reported.
I see no report on Rule scraps or the RPR Rule.
We use evening meetings as detailed in the ebook. IF NEEDED, = Afternoon produced a LOSS. Jon has his reputation to think of, and will not fabricate results. And thats not what
i want. This is the only review site in 9 months to put the system in not reccomended. Last time it was glen with his dodgy back testing and now an idiot with no time to trade himself. Who couldnt care less of the implications.
Mark, your comments are laughable. Avoid like the plague! I suspect this will be your last review conducted for the owner. If Nik has any sence. You were correct to report a loss in your trial, but the figures you reported were way off!
And no system on gods green earth should be judged over a week and half. You fail to realise how inexperienced you have made yourself to be on here. How can a forum with 93 members get results the same as Jons review yet yours are totally different? Ask yourself that question….

I would like to apologise if I hurt anybodys feeling with my comments, and maybe “avoid like the plague” was not warranted. “I do not recommend this system” would have sufficed.
Can I stress once again that I used SP, and the results I got would be the results anybody would get if they had used SP.
BTW James, its ok to call me an idiot. I have been called a fool, a toerag and an utter moron.
My local paper called me a snob, and the News of the World once misquoted me but called me a loving father.
And yes, I had already notified the site owner that I wasn`t available to do more reviews, Life (pun intended) is too short.
Mark, the last thing i want to do is portray myself as a bitcher on Niks site, but you clearly have made mistakes in the review.
If Nik is to keep the review on his site, my Solicitor has advised me that i can request the results to be shown in a more detailed manner. Luckily my solicitor is my uncle!
not only do they have to be in a detailed manner, they have to be as i requested all affiliates to show them at BSP and a 1 month minimum review. Neither has been achieved yet so the review must be cleared or i will be sending a subpoena to the court. To have the review removed. I havent spoken to Nik yet about it, but im sure he will be reading this before its submitted so he can decide whats the best course of action.
Im not saying the review should read profit, as the system has had a bad few weeks, its on the downward spiral of the rollercoaster, upto now. I just want it done properley. I value my integrity, thats why i protect myself the way i show you know..
I’ll have a couple of weeks to do a review of this, starting 4/7/09 if you like… am so intrigued !
I could do BSP, and would place all bets at the start of the day (I understand this can be done). Not worried about blowing any stop loss as I’d only be £2 a punt.

But for interest sake could you please let me know which Danish laws I’m breaking, since my company is Danish and hosted in Denmark then it’s Danish law that is to be used (as far as I know). Would be quite fun if I could send you to court in Denmark for something you write in your many marketing emails or websites

Could you let me know which date you sent me an email with these rules?? I don’t remember ever accepting this but I can be wrong, and if I am wrong then of course I will remove the review or finish it with 1 month worth of results.

My business has been regulated. I keep a copy of every email i send out and it is checked for anti spam laws, My business is also regulated by paypal and they have very strict rules about what i can sell and what i cannot sell.. Business member for 11 years…
I use Get Responce Email program and everyone who receives emails from me agrees to receive them. If they wish to stop receiving them, each email sent out has instructions on how to stop the emails coming.

Please dont be redicolous folks,.. actually i am a lawyer (not a Danish one though) and most of those System shysters are lucky that they dont get crushed and fucked up by a court order themselves,…. not to speak of the criminal implications for delivering one fraud after another and charging money for it.
