Now it’s time to test The Cambridge Target system and give a review of the Cambridge Target System sold by Sportsworld Publishing. Sportsworld Publishing has been so very nice to let me have it for free to test it here on this site even though I have said that I would only give my honest oppinion and could absolutely never guarantee a positive review. So it’s a good start and shows that the publisher believes in the product.
This sales message (underneath) is absolutely amazing and if it’s just half as good as it says I will be a happy man
“Introducing the system of the decade – £193,870 profit in 11 months using stakes of just £33, £50 and £100. Not possible? That’s what we thought, until we saw The Cambridge Target System – by Roger Purssord
Have you ever before seen a system using bets as small as £33, £50 and £100 that has made over £22,000 profit in just one month and over £12,000 profit in its worst month?”
Well I have never seen such a system yet, but I hope I see it in the next couple of months
What is included in The Cambridge Target System?
You get a 50 page manual which tells you about the system. 20 og these pages are about the system and some sheets you can use to find the selections. The last 30 pages are the results for 2008.
The system is very well put together and it seems like there has gone a lot of work into making this manual (this is not one of the usual manuals with a betfair guide on 10 pages and then 2 pages with the system).
The selection method sounds good enough and there are long research behind it to back up the data.
In the manual it says that you should use The Sun but I am told that the sportinglife website has the same odds compiler so that is what I’m going to use in my test of The cambridge Target system.
The good thing is that this system is not based on some kind of loss retrieval staking plan but makes it profits at level stakes. The system by the way is only about backing horses to win (some time backing more than 1 horse).
Who can use The Cambridge Target system?
This horse racing system can be used by everyone. However, it requires you to follow the race the last 10 minutes before the off so some people will only be able to use it on weekends or afternoon racing, but it works just as good at these times.
I will start the test and review of Cambridge Target System in a couple of days (when I’m sure that I can do it 100% correct). So stay tuned and see the results and my oppinion as time goes by
If anyone else has tried The Cambridge Target System then please leave a comment and let all the others in here know about your results.
TEST RESULTS
Testing will be done with a starting bank of 1.000 and level stakes of 25. The system sets a target for when to stop betting for every session. Listed are all potential bets. result in brackets are if every bet was made.
UPDATE 25th JUNE – MY FINAL OPPINION ABOUT CAMBRIDGE SYSTEM
I’m sorry to say it but we will not be able to perform a real live test of The Cambridge Target System. I have tried myself plus 3 others has done so as well. However, all of them has given up. Therefore I will give my review on The Cambridge Target System based on my observations and not based on real results.
The number one thing that everyone who has tried it for some days is that the results they get are NOT the same as the author publishes. This means that you can not rely on the results stated on the sales page, and the results are really the ONE THING that matters. Everyone performs much worse than the results quoted, but many of them has also said to have a small profit.
The number two problem is that it is VERY time consuming and you have to follow the races very closely for some time. This is the main reason that people has given up, but also could be the reason that this system actually works. I don’t think you should expect 1000 other punters to do the same thing since most people will not think that it’s worth the effort (you don’t win nearly as much as stated on the sales page).
My conclusion is a little vague. I think the system could workand give a small profit most months, however I won’t be using this myself since it’s too time consuming and the results stated on the sales page does not match with the results other people get. I put it in neutral since I actually think it will make a profit long term, but I can’t be bothered when I consider all the time spent.
If anyone else has tried the cambridge target system or actually uses it now, then please “leave a comment” and tell us about YOUR personal experience.

So am I to assume that after two days you are up £913.80 from your original first £25 bet?
Please read it again. He started out with a betting bank on 1000. Now it’s only 913.80 so he has lost so far.
AH! Yeah, sorry! We’ll have to see what the future brings then!
Nothing else to do
No need to pay 95 quid for what is just a rework of the Money Vault system sold by the same mob.

How is the system running?
Kent=> Read the post again, it says in the bottom of the text what the problem was
I followed this system from the 22 July to the 17th August pm and eve sessions 7 days a week only missing 3 sessions. The detraction as a punter is that the whole process is incredibly time consuming which wouldn’t be quite so bad if you could achieve the published results.
Firtsly, I have spoken with the author who readily makes himself available for discussion. However he does not follow his own system as he is a driving instructor, that should tell us all something, and I leave you to draw your own conclusions.
The problem with selections is as follows, you are making decisions based on the live data feeds but need to allow a minute or so before the off to make your final decision. The off is never on time and the picture can change quite a bit between the published off time and the actual off. Live data feed I guess may not be as live as one may think, one can follow the prices but once they show off and you get the SP it is often different to the last price before the off, so in hind sight you may have not made the correct decision. The author also admits that he back compiles his results, this is done in the evening as the live data history is wiped out at midnight(hence ones own difficulty in doing any back test). When I back tested in the evening I always made my results the same as his. The other anomaly is when to stop betting (this is a quit while ahead system and stop when you are losing). He does give advise on this and will discuss it at length on the phone, but in reality its a hunch and a guess. However when looking at he results he always seems to stop at the right time, and I guess he can do that because he is looking at things after the event.
thats my experience, I’d love to hear fom anyone who has done this system with a successful result and tell me where I went wrong.BTW at the end of my test period I was 4.3 points up
Hi Robin
Just seen your thoughts on the Cambridge and I totally agree. It is the losing days you need to look at carefully, generally he will stop at the best time to achieve a profit before things turn worse. This is of course easy for him to do as he puts his “stop” in after the eracing has finished. Quit a clever con, but it makes my blood boil that poor punters who have not spotted this will continue to think they are doing something wrong when the system is basically a trick, with backfitted targets to go with back tracked made up profits. Also he consistently disobeys his own rules when it suits to reduce losing days and of course the winning days take care of themselves. Stay well clear would be my advice.
Thanks fór your comment Steve
Always nice to hear peoples oppinion.
I use this system to lay horses on betfair i monitor the system though to make sure its in profit for 3-4 days then i lay them to make a decent profit more than 70% of the time.
The rules of the system state that qualifiers must be under betting forecast prices to qualify as a bet thus creating a good value lay bet ROI is about 20% but could be more.
