I know that this has nothing to do with horseracing systems but I thought that it could be of interest to many of my readers anyway.

Sportsbetting champ claims on their website an impressive record of 79 wins and 1 loss which should give a strike rate around 97%. This of course ticks some boxes in my head since there must be something wrong with this picture.

There are several ways to receive a 97% strike rate – for instance you could back some extremely low odds, or lay some games where the odds are extremely high. Another popular method is to use a loss retrieval plan and treat each betting sequence as 1 bet. This means if you loose 2 in a row and the third one wins and you have doubled up then you would count it as 1 winner, instead of 2 losses and 1 winner.

What is Sports Betting Champ about?

John Morrison has found out that a team if certain criterias are met will win at least one game in 3 against an opponent who also meet some criterias. You then place bets on this series of 3 games and use loss retrieval staking to win back money lost if some games loose.

To be fair to sportsbettingchamp in this review I will have to say that the facts from past results and current strike rate claims seems to be true enough.

The negative thing is that the odds are typically very low and if you are unlucky and lose 3 bets then you will lose very much. You also have to be sure that you can get some good odds!!

Furthermore I would like to see this system compared to level stakes.

Conclusion of the Review of Sportsbettingchamp

Very smart marketing once again that should earn the marketer a great deal of money. The strike rate is right but it also has to be this high to compensate for the losing bets that will turn up once in a while, I would think that one losing bet could take 50 points away from your bank. If you are going to try sportsbettingchamp then you really need to have a big bankroll and you need to be aware that you can lose a lot of profit very fast if it does not go your way.

Sports betting champ will probably work if the future will have the same seqences as the past. However, there are no guarantees, but if you buy the system then you should hope and cross your fingers. You get the selections free for life which is positive and saves you from the trouble of finding them yourself.

It has a high cost of $197 but if you have no problems sometimes betting 2000 to win back 100 (loss retrieval staking) and you believe that the future results will be the same as the past then this system might be worth trying.

The last problem can be to get odds good enough to make this system work. But time will tell if this will be a problem.

I put it in my “neutral systems” since I don’t personally want to use it and risk my money on it. I think that you now are able to make a better decision yourself if this is worth buying when you know that it involves sequences of 3 bets and loss retrieval. Just try to see what your own strike rate will be if you choose some matches with low odds and make 3 match sequences. Best of luck if anyone tries it and please keep us updated on your results :-)

UPDATE 7th July: This system now goes to my NOT RECOMMENDED Folder since it seems like it is going very bad for the system.

Currently using but modified slightly as if you lose more than 3 bets in 100 you will be negative. Only bet when it goes to bet C then your chances are much increased. The odds are even but you have to sign to a USA site and deposit large amounts if you want to win big. He’s on a good run but that can end in disastor!

Thanks for your feedback, always nice to hear :-)

I’ve followed this system for some time now, and the problem is that his results state 100 wins to 1 loss, but what it doesn’t explain, is that 1 win is around a 0.5 unit gain, whereas a loss is a 15 unit loss as it’s sessions of 3 progressive bets, not single bets highlighted in his results.

He’s hit a bad streak and is on 100 wins to 3 losses, which to be fair isn’t a negative return, but it isn’t a very large return for the effort required.

  4. admin on June 24th, 2008 11:24 am

I also think that this system maybe will win a little bit of money and that is why it’s in neutral and not in the “not recommended” folder. The sales page is simply too misleading and I feel bad for all the people who don’t know the truth about sportsbettingchamp before they part with their money.

Hope this review helps a little bit :-)

Admin, you should put this under NOT RECOMMENDED.
The results show on the web are not accurate. the MLB had loss 4 in this year, but the web still showing 2 losses only.

    Hi all,

I have been testing this system for the last 61 baseball games.

I can not tell you about the hole system, but here are the facts so far.

I aim to have 250 dkk i profit for each game

winning = total 250 in profit
    Losing = total -6500

So far this MLB season have had 57 wins and 4 loses.

    57 x 250 = 14250
    4 x -6500 = -26000

    Total -11750.-

Only the NBA pks are free for life. You have to pay a $100 for MLB pks if you don’t want to figure them yourself. I’m a little ahead using small stakes but I don’t use the martingale plus the lay he says to use.
He has announced an improvement to the system that he’s trying. So far it has elim 2 losing series.

  8. Chuck Swope on August 16th, 2008 8:01 am

Doesn’t show 4 losses because he’s tweaking the system and did not release those last 2 losses to clients. However if you’re not privy to his selections and doing it yourself, then 4 losses correct.

  9. Lasse Joergensen on August 19th, 2008 10:43 pm

    Chuck
i’m getting he’s selection… and so far i know i have lost 4 C bet this MLB season, since i joined in april.

  10. Chuck Swope on August 25th, 2008 3:10 am

Should only be three if you”re taking pks from john instead of picking them yourself> HE bkd away from a series that was lost because it didn”t fit his enhanced critera> If he had been using it all season we wouldn”t have lost a series> BTW

  11. Chuck Swope on August 25th, 2008 6:07 pm

Also, I DO NOT use the 3step Martingale prog. Gives too much bk. I am experimenting with other plans.
Last pks we had a few days ago. (4) I decided i would need 3 wins to mk a profit, so i made 4 3team parlays. I won all 4 parlays. Nice windup.

  12. Lasse on August 27th, 2008 10:12 am

    Hi chuck,

I have followed all he’s picks during the MLB season, and have folllowed the 3 step prog. and still have lost money in the longt term ( maybe because of the 3 steg prog) I’m aware of the new Filter that he is putting into the MLB system, by the way it lokks realy good.

I would love to hear more about your new staking plan for MLB or NBA season….. so if you feel to contact me by email or i here

  13. Chuck Swope on September 5th, 2008 6:05 pm

It’s not really new. Experimenting with a boomerang style method. I’m writing a manual about using it for sports betting and i’m considering selling it when i’m done.

lasse, what is your e-mail address?

  15. Dave on September 6th, 2008 3:15 am

John has recently started faking results, he gave out a bet, told everyone to bet on it, then when it lost he decided it was a no bet and didn’t put it on his results, his excuse was the main 2 pithcers were not playing, but they were never playing right from the off, even when he gave the bet out he knew they werent playing, he just didn’t want to add yet another loss to his results.

There have also been times when hes said a losing bet was a no bet because it wasnt in the odds range, but it was in the odds range for 90% of the day so people would have already put the bet on.

hes also charged everyone for the ne MLB picks even though they were meant to be free for life.

Another scam is that, after he has a good run, he asks people to do a youtube video and in return hell give them some money if they open a betus account. Non suspecting people who have joined during the good run know no better and do so, hence the large amount of positive vids on his site.

also im told that hes applied a new filter to the old results to remove the losing bets but hes still kept winning bets that would not have been bets thanks to the new system, and makes you wonder if he does this every year!

this guy is an bad guy through and through in my opinion and will rob you anyway he can, id stay well away, but the choice is yours.

    Dave

  16. Dave on September 6th, 2008 3:22 am

Also i forgot to mention he will never ever give replys to emails that ask for a refund, i know because i was once prey to his scams and thought all was going well, so i started to promote his affiliate link, then when it became clear what was really happening i and many others id sold too asked for a refund, not one peron got a reply and never have to this day, luckily clickbank refunds straight away no questions asked.

    Dave

  17. Chuck Swope on September 7th, 2008 5:42 am

NBA picks are free for life. But you have to pay a modest fee for mlb picks or figure them out yourself. I won money starting with the nba and also mlb but I use my own betting methods, not the martingale. I never asked for refund, so don’t know about that, but as you say, clickbank gives them freely.

  18. chris on September 14th, 2008 9:26 pm

I started half way through last years NBA and caught the won losing bet but still manage to make a small profit. Encouraged by this I carried now through all this years MLB and lost money, mainly due to the staking plan and it was 4 C bets I even recoreded the team and dates.

I agree with everything Dave said and in my opinion the guy is dishonest, he will even con you into taking out an account with BETUS, don’t do it, they’ll take your money in with no problems but you try and get it out again it’s a nightmare and the odds they offer make it even harder to make any money.

If anyone is tempted to sign up then use BET365 and a different staking plan, I do agree with Chuck there.

    Chris

  19. Chuck Swope on September 18th, 2008 6:03 am

I went with Bodog. The guy at Betus told me the bonus was dependent on giving them a 6time roll through. Just ridiculous. Does bet 365 take U.S. clients?

  20. liang on September 20th, 2008 8:11 am

    Hi,there

Nice comments here ! I was thinking buying the
system. So I emailed John with the blog here.He never replied.I am guessing he is not confident
    anymore.
one thing I need help from you guys. Why you can’t just bet on “C Bet” in the system ?I mean
just skip the two bets waiting for the C wiht a flat bet ?

    thanks guys

    zhangliang68@yahoo.com

  21. Dave on September 21st, 2008 3:09 pm

That would be a good idea if there were a lot of C bets, but there arnt that many C bets, the problem with them is although there arnt many, one losing c bet takes a massive chunk away from your bank, but just betting C bets wouldnt see much action, im guessing it would have exactly then same outcome as looking at odds on horses each day, waiting for the first 2 to lose and then betting on the 3rd one to win, in that it wouldnt be that profitable. I could be wrong though.

  22. chris on October 7th, 2008 9:06 pm

It’s the final straw with this con merchant, he know wants another $100 just to get the selections the day before (like we used to) instead of the now 30min before! he must have a barrow full of other tactics to extract more money from people just so that they can get the same level of service. DON’T TOUCH HIM!!.

    Chris

  23. chad on October 8th, 2008 12:48 am

John is a true crook if there was ever one. System is very, very dangerous and after losing 4 c bets in bases this year he changes the record and the previous years record also in bases to reflect his new filter system. Now check this out he just emails me and said that if i did not send him $100.00 he would only email me the picks 30 min before each NBA game not like last year when I received them the night before. BET US is a big joke also and when I did win from them betting my own plays it took a act of GOD to get my monies.

  24. Curtis on October 8th, 2008 8:05 am

I was thinking about buying the system and just making flat bets. That way I wont lose the massive chunks from these C bets u all keep talking about.Does this system work with a Mac?

john gave first series bet of this nba season, sacramento, bet lost(-20 points) the next day he sent email stating it was a non-qualifer and would not count!! how can you trust someone who decides to change things AFTER the outcome. just like he did last baseball season when results did not happen.

again do not buy this system…..

hey i think you guys just saved me a lot of money by not buyin this system i was so damn close, but i was freaked out i couldnt find anything negative but it was clearly all ppl promoting the site, thanks guys

  31. Woody on February 11th, 2009 5:12 am

Glad I found this. I almost bought into this but now I am more wary. Like the poster above me, I was impressed by the positive reviews but I also saw that it looked suspicious and they could all have been paid promoters. This is something I would play around with if I had an extra 10,000 dollars lying around, but being the broke college student I am, I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole. It’s like they say, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. Key word usually, I’m sure there are some phenomenally good products out there, but not this one, this one is far from a risk free gamble.

  32. Beardy on February 12th, 2009 11:16 am

Ditto Woodys comment. Thanks for saving my bacon. Could kick myself for nearly getting roped in. Should be a Youtube vid on the “real” story behind this package!

  33. Mike on February 13th, 2009 9:59 pm

I bought this system and i won 3 games in a row..so far so good..maybe i am lucky until now..i will tell you more later…but i think theres no “system”..there’s no easy money in this world..

How about if we start with only B bet instead of A B C?

    wouldn’t that make more sense?

  34. Kathy Davison on February 19th, 2009 12:12 pm

I just bought this system as well .
Both my first two bets were loses and then today a B bet has won and another to be placed today .
I am a bit wary now after reading all this as I cannot afford to lose money .
Also if they are going to make it difficult to get the money out of Betus that worries me as well .
Betus told me that I had to send them details of identity and I know that alot of betting companies require that …so not sure if that is what you are talking about.

Oh dear ….will keep tuned into this site .I know that a clickbank refund will be easy to get anyway
I am starting small so will keep you informed .
I did notice that Betus were very pushy trying to get me to deposit a large amount and I have not come across that before

am wondering if I should go for a refund.

    only started 16th feb

  35. rab on February 27th, 2009 4:18 pm

could someone please state whether or not, this works on level stakes

    thank you

for what it is worth, i asked this guy that question and he replied saying it makes money on level stakes and i would love the statem

    Greetings from Australia,
Now Feb 2009 and John Morrison’s betting
    chump continues to deceive.
I bought this mid 2008 and lost 4 in 2 months
As recently as this month (Feb 2008) there
has been 2 results that were beaten by a long
way but are not in the results.
Have not bet on this since but have
    followed the results.
Now wants $100 more for the updated version.
    PLEASE put this on site.
Betus are a D- bookie and are in cahoots
    with J. Morrison
    Regards,
    Leo.

I purchased Sports Betting Champ in November of 2008. For some reason, none of these “scam alerts” showed up in my research at the time so I went ahead with it not knowing of others bad experiences with the NBA system—-

I thought it was pretty easy to implement by doing about three hours of research prior to the season and I built a spread sheet with all the potential bets including dates and times. After that I only had to check the lines, records and injury reports prior to placing my bets—-

I back tested the system using about four years results and found the claims to be “mostly” accurate- but not 100% accurate—-

It WAS accurate enough for me so that it made sense to use real money—-

Due to the size of my bankroll I started betting to win $100 per game. I did modify the system slightly in that I only used the A and B bets in the progression and skipped the C bets. Here are the actual results for the 2008/09 NBA season to date (03/11/2009)

If you placed only the “A” bets to win $100 you would be up $1,490.

If you placed only the “A” and “B” bets to win $100 you would be up $4,696

If you followed the system to the letter (Using A,B and C bets to win $100 per game) you would be up $5,800.

Note that at this very moment we have lost two A bets in the last three days. We have one B bet tonight and one tomorrow. If you take those two series along with the six remaining qualifiers there is still a chance the system could get much closer to zero winnings if you follow it to the letter.

With six remaining series this year (Assuming none of the filters eliminate any of the series) skipping the C bets for the rest of the season guarantees me a positive outcome even if the unlikely event occurs that ALL of the remaining series are losers.

I believe the system works if you use common sense. Which is why I’m going to reduce or eliminate my wagers for the rest of the season to protect my winnings.

Please note that Mr. Morrison does NOT deliver the customer service he implies on his site. Don’t expect a response to an e-mail and if you get one it will be very very short. I have e-mailed him seven times in five months and received replies to only three.

I would advise against using his recommended sportsbook at BetUs. That’s because the lines for the wagers you want to make are always worse than the other books because so many of the Sports Champ people are making bets on that side causing the number to go against you all too often. There are numerous other books out there that will accomodate the system and I would STRONGLY recommend using one of those. The BetUs line is routinely 1 or 2 points worse than any of my other sportsbook accounts for the Sports Betting Champ plays.

  38. Andres Vargas on March 18th, 2009 1:02 am

I have to disagree with you on this article. I bought this system last year and since it has giving me more profit than looses. The system is not perfect because it doesn’t offer or includes some money management tips on how to not loose your entire bankroll thought.

I would recommend at least a $500 bankroll to start and use a good bankroll management technique like the ones Frank Belanger gives.

I do recommend this system, so far is the only thing on the internet that I have been able to profit from.

  39. Liam on March 18th, 2009 2:19 pm

I have been using this system since November and have found it to be quite good. I have deposited into BetUS twice, first time was $200 and at Christmas he was offering $100 free bet, but you had to deposit $500. So total invested $700. Using 25% of my bank as my total liability for A, B and C bets, I have 1 loss so far, although he claims to have none. It was recently when the points spread changed throughout the day and I was out by 1 point.
My bank is now at $1450, but would have been at $1780 if I had got the right spread.
Have only tried NBA bets up to now, waiting for MLB to start. I would say for me it has been good to double my money since November. Have not tried to withdraw from BetUS yet, but will try now that I have read some comments on here, and will let you know what happens.
It is really up to the individual, whether you try it or not, you have to properly use the system A B and C bets and try and get the best points spread. I am wary of the MLB now cause of comments on here. Good Luck all

  40. mike on March 19th, 2009 10:18 pm

I have also won money this NBA, but have stopped using BETUS. They are always 1-2 points below all other sportsbooks. I havent tried to withdraw either. Please keep us posted. As for MLB, if results are not good JM will change his parameters to make results fit.Last season he introduced RPI filter at the end of the season and backfitted results on his web site to suit. I still intend to follow the system but with much reduced stakes, hope this helps

  41. Liam on March 24th, 2009 12:44 pm

I think that the sports betting champ system is a great system. Most of the people who say anything negative about the system are the ones who have never used it themselves. I started with Morrison back late last year with a $2,000 bank and under the system I’ve grown it to $8,647.38 as of today. This year has been very good. I’ve also backtested the system to the last 5 years and have found that it has made money each year. I don’t know of any sites that allow me to look past 5 years so I can’t check for more than that right now, but definitely the system has won for every season I was able to check. The NBA season finished off with a huge winning run, and I’m excited for baseball which is starting tomorrow. Overall I think that this is a great system. Be careful to follow his strict money management guideline and you’ll be sure to come out way ahead each season.

better line than BetUs, is it good to use for betting?

I will buy Sportsbettingchamp no matter what people

wow i am glad i found this website. i was VERY skeptical seeing those win rates but left a small window open that maybe its possible.but the old adage rings true:if it sound to good to be true,it probably is!!

thanks to all who posted their experiences.

it takes 10 bussines days 2 get a check from betus. sportsbook.com is a very trusted site as well.. have gr8 history with them. andohbytheway sportschamp is a piece of bull-shittttt….

  52. Liam on April 22nd, 2009 11:49 am

Update on the BetUs payout, finally got it. I would say to all who request a deposit that if you live in UK, as I do, you cannot request a cheque. Send them an email requesting payout and that you live in UK. You then give them your bank details to get a bank to bank transfer. If I’d have known this at the start, I don’t think there would’ve have been any problems. I was sceptical because of what I had read on this review. I will use BetUs again.

  53. mike on April 23rd, 2009 10:35 pm

Thanks for the update Liam, glad you managed to get settled up, will follow advice should I withdraw from BetUS

  54. Daniel on April 24th, 2009 6:11 pm

Guys, stay away from BetUS. You were probably lucky to get your money so easily that time. Have a read of this then go somewhere else! I was stung by them.

Hi, Good news, and bad news for this system

    5days ago I made decision over everyone… I bought

Sports betting champs and, I do not regret.

I will tell you the hints or tips.~~

Once you buy the system, they won’t send you system, instead promotion email which is
sign up Betus.com, Yes~ you could but, be careful
signing up under their affiliate link, because, there will be difference of lines(worse) when you sign up under sports betting champ…. (They will get commission every wager you win, that’s why at least half point lower than its usual.

SBC will get commission from your winning wagers
    Betus has connection with SBC.

  56. Jaesun on April 29th, 2009 6:36 am

So sign up without affiliate link,

simply just go betus.com and sign up

Once you are done, tell them you are already member of betus.com, and you want system now~!

They will send you system without any hesitation!

    HINTS^^
You will get system right away, but not picks.

Their MLB picks are coming on May due to run system on current season(Their data is combined between past 5 years and current season data)

I believe they will have close to 100% winning this season..

For reference they have 100% result on NBA this season. Every year their system is getting better and better.

So far, I have only system but, picks.
I was still able to use system on my own picks.

I am betting on current NBA playoffs. my budget
was $100. I am using both Sportsbook.com, and

Betus.com I am using 2 sites because, sometimes
one and the other got different lines.. To take
little more advantage I am using both.

I will post my results on next post

Jaesun also beware that John Morrison has also changed the rules after a losing run and then altered the past results on his site.

I will say again, stay away from bet us and SBC. It will all end in tears.

good luck if you wish to keep falling for it though, you will need it.

Have a read of threads like these:

    http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r253476-.html

    http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r223252-.html

    http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r256190-.html

John Morrison is a lowlife scumbag no matter what his website or his shills say. His system is basically Martingale. You could do just as well by betting on anything with a stop at a win strategy, from Man U at home to horse racing favourites to place. You will end up in the same place too, which is risking thousands to win tens, and then finally a bad run will destroy your bankroll.

  60. Liam on May 6th, 2009 9:39 pm

Has anyone had the email about his MLB personal picks. As if you’d pay for that, such a rip off.

  61. Jaesun on May 8th, 2009 8:38 am

Hi, I got one from last week

    A’s vs Mariners – 1.5 bet on A’s : Wager Won!

    I won $50.

I was lucky if that bet lost, I had to go to bet

“B” which will cost me more than $200 …^^

Right now his record for 2009 MLB season is

    1 win 0 lost.

I will keep updating it while betting!!

  62. daniel on May 10th, 2009 2:20 am

Dont bother mate, I dont really think anyone is intresting in following his picks, just you. Everyone else has come to realise that his service is a rip off and you will in due time.

  63. David on May 31st, 2009 7:29 pm

Just want to add a few comments. Many negative posts are true:
    - John hasn’t replied to many of my emails
    - the system is a risky one; a few times I was literally a point or two from going bankrupt
    - BetUs does look like a suspicious sportsbook; they tried very hard to get my money, so I went to Pinnacle Sports and have been very satisfied so far

    On the other hand:
    - I’ve made a profit – more than $4,000 since November 2008
    - the whole NBA season really was perfect 78-0 and the current MLB season is 5-0 so far
    - I usually bet $200 on A, $600 on B and $2,000 on C bet

I’m not paid for this post by JM, I simply wanted to comment on some of the posts…

  64. LF on June 1st, 2009 9:33 pm

    David,

Please walk away with your profits now. You were exceedingly lucky to not have had a losing series. With your betting scheme you are maybe 2 losing series away from bankroll wipeout. Read the Talkgold threads where JM omits details of losing series, changes filters after the games are played, etc.

Mark my words: two losing series will come, they will come close together, and you will be wiped out.

  65. Brandon on June 26th, 2009 3:38 am

Ok guys I’m new to sports betting. Kind of funny but I grew up in las vegas. Anyways my old man bought this system and we are about to start using it to try and make some side cash, obviously its not a living but I would like to make some profits at it. We will be making bets in person at a sports book and not with Betus. Can any of you offer some advice?

  66. daniel on June 27th, 2009 11:13 am

Yes, DO NOT do it!!! if you bet using that system you WILL lose your money. you have been warned. do some research, there are far better methods out there.

  67. Pat Lambert on August 4th, 2009 5:12 am

I disagree about your review. I’m an actual customer and have used the SBC system since the middle of 2008 and I’ve made a lot of money with it. Even if we are to lose a string of series in a row (which is the worst case scenario, extremely unlikely), I would still be up a ton in profits.

The last NBA season was remarkable and the MLB season now is even better.

  68. Greg Stroh on August 7th, 2009 1:26 am

The sports betting champ system is definitely a profitable system as long as you follow it exactly as it is. It does carry risks, and losing does hurts, yes, but the reality is that the system has been massively profitable and the records speak for themselves. I chickened out of a few bets some times back in the NBA season but every time the system nailed it.

I make every bet according to the system these days in the MLB and they have not disappointed. I think you should file this under recommended.

  69. Chuck Swope on August 26th, 2009 12:29 am

Guys, I haven’t been here in awhile. my new e-mail is swope359@aol.com
I like The “Champ” for selection but don’t use the Martingale.
If anybody bought his new NFL system for $298
I would like to make some trades for it. I have a lot of ‘value” to trade.

  70. Craig on September 4th, 2009 12:53 pm

I would also like to post as i am based in the UK and have been using the system prob half way through the last NBA run.. I started with $400 in the account and only do small wagers etc starting with around $30 for the A bet. I then with B / C jsut try to recover the 1st loss if it happens or make small profit..
I now have around $950 in my account and will look to slowly increase the stakes. Last years NBA there was no losses and so far in this MBL there is also no losses to date. .

  71. Kevin Haffner on September 19th, 2009 9:37 am

Have you actually used the system yourself for this review? I have been using Morrison’s system for about 1 and a half years now and the results have been just about flawless. I would definitely make it a recommendation. I’m very happy with the results I’ve had from it so far.

  72. daniel on September 20th, 2009 8:16 pm

What about when he changed the rules Kevin, then changed past results too to make it look better? I think you are telling porkies.

You just cannot trust anyone who does that and also doesnt answer any emails. He is a scammer pure and simple. stop being an affilate for it and find something decent, there are decent ones out there. Alternatively, i will laugh to myself when you lose all your money because i can GUARANTEE that day will come.

  73. Pavlos Bulgin on September 23rd, 2009 9:05 pm

The system works folks. You shouldn’t be gambling if you can’t profit with Morrison’s system, plain and simple.

    -member since 2008

  74. Carlos Ruiz on September 29th, 2009 7:55 pm

From Santo Domingo here and I’ve had success with sportsbettingchamp. The NBA last year was great and so has been the MLB. If you manage your bankroll properly, you will profit with the system. I can safely guarantee that anyone who doesn’t like the system has never used it themselves, because if they did and follow it the way it’s written out, it’s impossible not to have made a bunch of profits with it over the last year.

  75. daniel on September 30th, 2009 6:51 pm

carlos you cannot guarantee that because i used it a couple of years ago, lost some money and then when he started changing rules and the PAST results to make it look better it was clear he is a scammer.

he doesnt answer emails, offers things to you only if you send a video testimonial saying how amazing it is (that is why he has so many, not because it works) and you will see more bad reviews than good unless they are affiliates.

Its not recommended on here for a reason. ITS NOT A GOOD THING.

I think there are enough warnings on here now for people to realise that this is one to avoid.

  76. Caten Morr on October 27th, 2009 10:49 am

I’ve had good results with Morrison’s system. I would recommend it.

  77. Pat on October 30th, 2009 2:18 am

    Pure scam….

Said in ad he’s send picks for a lifetime. Now he sends me an e-mail to join his premium club where I’ll get his picks well in advance as against my present subscription whereby I’ll get the picks 15 minutes before the off!!!!
Stupid stupid me for sending this fella money!!!!
The only tipster I’ve ever come across who after a series of losing bets tells me that I musst be jumping fo rjoy and dwatering at the mouth in anticipation of next winning bet!.All bets are odds on….so u lose on team X at 1.8 get mack ur losses when they play next at 1.5…..oh they lose…..get back ur losses when they play next at 1.4……oh! they lost??? well that bet didn’t qualify …so we maintain our record of 149-0!!

  78. Eddie on October 30th, 2009 4:40 pm

Spot on Pat, hit the nail bang on the head. How anyone can say it is a good thing is absolutely crazy.

  79. Kieu Tran on November 1st, 2009 2:46 pm

The system is good. I’ve been using it for a year and have made a lot of profits.

  80. Timmy Long on November 3rd, 2009 11:55 am

The system works. Follow it right and it’s easy $$. Been using it since the baseball season last year and haven’t lost.

  81. Dominick Debnam on November 4th, 2009 3:02 pm

It’s a great system and I would recommend it. Both the NBA and MLB seasons that I’ve been with Morrison have been easy money-in-the-bank. If you like making money, stick with the system, be disciplined.

  82. Eddie on November 6th, 2009 9:57 am

You lot have obviously not seen John Morrison change the rules and then previous results to suit the new ones. You are crazy if you think you can win long term with this. Crazy.

Try emailing John Morrison asking a question and see how many times you get a reply…probably never, especially if you ask a slightly negative question.

Its one massive scam, read ANY review on the internet and it will say the same. AVOID AVOID AVOID. You have been warned.

  83. Chuck Swope on November 6th, 2009 11:01 am

I win with it, but I use my own betting method.
And I don’t buy the points.

  84. Mando on November 6th, 2009 8:18 pm

I agree with the negative comments. It’s the same thing I have been experiencing. He doesn’t count all the loss so his #’s look better. Every new season you have to pay more money for his supposed
new system. Our lifetime picks are a bunch of bull
—- or we only get our picks 15 min. before the start of the game. What ever happen to integerity of his printed word. I wish he would quite begging for money all the time. I am a occasional bettor and enjoy watching the event with a small wager, but he has blown that idea!

  85. Warren Esrey on November 10th, 2009 1:48 am

His system works. Use it, make money.

  86. Dan Odoi on November 11th, 2009 5:51 pm

I’ve been a Morrison system user for a long time and I can attest that it works very well. You just have to be disciplined and follow it to a “T”

  87. Keegan on December 21st, 2009 8:22 am

I’m glad to have found this site where you gave a more refreshing review of Sportsbettingchamp from a different angle. I for one has been in a dilemma for weeks as to whether to try his system or not as I’ve read too many conflicting reviews on the net about his system. One major point he stated on his salespage is that his system is not about progressive betting but I come across few major review sites that says its exactly the opposite. And then if you notice the Lamborghini that he uses in his salespage, there is no number place attached to his car. It could be just a car that he borrowed and paste up the stickers on its windscreen and took some shots. Its very likely its not his car at all. Anyone notice this on his salespage? However the hundreds of video/letters testimonial is very convincing, which I myself find it hard to think that its fake. And then I’ve read from a forum that says he is actually basically promoting BetUs.com which he is earning tonnes of commissions from clients who joined. So there you go. Too risky to try in my books. I think I’m gonna give it a miss and save my time and affort that could probably be wasted down the drain.

  88. Eddie on December 27th, 2009 2:14 am

Spot on Keegan, its not worth the risk. you are basically backing a team to win 1 of its 3 matches per series, around odds of 1.5, if it loses then you chase onto bet b, if that loses then you also chase AGAIN on to bet c.

Losses are only recorded when all three bets lose instead of when each bet loses and the other year after a losing sequence he decided to change the rules, this may be fair enough if it will improve future results but he also then changed ALL past results using the new rules, to make it look much better than it was.

He will answer emails within minutes before you sign up and as soon as you have signed you will never hear from him again.

You will also get “offers” from him where if you deposit a certain amount (only to betus though, where he makes his money on your losses) then he will give you a bit extra on it, but to get this you HAVE TO send in a video testimonial saying how good the system is (hence so many video testimonials).

Overall a complete scam artist. His system may have some merit but it def one to avoid, scammer scammer scammer scammer.

  89. LF on December 30th, 2009 1:31 pm

    Well well well….

Ian Erskine of FTS Income Blog says that John Morrison had a losing sequence of 3 just now and immediately started to change rules so that it never would have happened and is not included in the official results. JM is a scamming scumbag and his system is long term breakeven at best. You could do his progression with anything you care to name: racing favourites to place or Man Utd or Chelsea to win at home.

Cue the shills jumping to his defence in 3, 2, 1….

  90. Eddie on December 30th, 2009 4:34 pm

I hear that John Morrison has had a losing sequence and tried to wriggle his way out of it saying something along the lines of if it had been bet a different way then it wouldnt have lost…. ha ha

dont be suprised to see the results page not show it as a loss shortly.

    what a scammer….

  91. liam on January 5th, 2010 9:40 pm

    hi
ive just bought this sysyem and now bitterly regret it after doing some research. how likely i m i to get a refund from clickbank/ not particuly bothered about e mailing th guy just want a refund.
    many thanks

  92. Chuck Swope on January 6th, 2010 9:04 am

Clickbank will refund with no problem.

  93. Eddie on January 6th, 2010 5:05 pm

Get a refund Liam, its the best way. Notice how all the big supporters of this system have gone missing since John Morrison started changing results and rules once again after a losing sequence.

  94. dean on February 24th, 2010 7:55 pm

I notice that despite your basically knowing that it is over hyped BS and that you’d have to make massive wagers and risk huge losses to make any vaguely decent money – you still have your affiliate links to click on to buy this crap. Shame on you – if you are saying it is not as good as it claims, you should’t be promoting it! sorry for my bluntness.

  95. admin on February 27th, 2010 11:44 am

We are not promoting it since we DON’T RECOMMEND it. But it would be stupid not to have an affiliate link if someone is stupid enough to buy it even though we say they should not.

  96. yidoboy on March 14th, 2010 9:51 am

Ive been using the system for a few years now and have had a few losses(nba).Mlb had a clean swipe tho.And if u just want no small bets just use his A bets to profit.

  97. Ian on April 14th, 2010 8:34 am

So the win percentage by every three games is 97%? If so, then I think we could make it work for ourselves. His website says that you get his advice for life. What I’m thinking is closely monitoring every set of three games he chooses over a long period of time. Don’t bet anything on the first two games.
If the team hasn’t one those first two games, now they should have a 97% chance of winning the third game, right? You won’t lose money the first two games, but be almost guaranteed to profit the third. I’m not sure if it would work in reverse, like bet on the other team the third game if Morrison’s team already won one of the previous two.
I know absolutely nothing about betting, but by using his method to your advantage I think you should easily make back that $197. Of course, this all depends on if the 97% number is true. Correct me if I’m wrong

  98. Jon on June 7th, 2010 5:36 pm

Interesting that after a long, long string of negative comments, there’s a sudden burst (#73,74,76,79,80,81,85,86) of posts that unreservedly praise MLB.

Sock puppets, or MLB users “encouraged” to post here? What do people think?

  99. Vinny on June 18th, 2010 1:34 am

Hey guys, I agree with everyone talking about sports betting champ, you need to have a huge bankroll just to profit. Just profit, not profit enough to buy nice things or spend or w,e. Just profit. Maybe just a few dollars. I myself being member since late 2009 have failed with him.

But there is this new service called sports betting champ maximizer. It’s a different business overall and they offer picks weeks before the games or before john emails you, so maybe you get better odds and such. They also offer money management advice and all sorts. Their team are experts who know where you all have gone wrong and they sort it. Its made for you to profit. If you are serious about betting for a living. It’s definetly helped me. Check it out.
