There is a relatively new concept that has come onto the market just recently. It is called ROBOBETS and this will be the Robobets review.
Robobets is a completely automated betting system that can be left alone all day whilst it places bets on horses via the BetFair website.
As yet, there have been NO losing months. In fact most months achieve a winning margin of 100+ points.
The procedure is that one signs onto the Robobets website via their Username and Password and then they are prompted to sign onto their BetFair Account. Security is paramount and there really is NO access to your Account and Password.
The Email Support is excellent and any query is answered within two hours.
Initially you are invited to undergo a FREE TRIAL. During this free trial the “Robot” will place £2 bets on horses. The number of bets that are found each day vary quite considerably. Some days, as many as forty bets will be fired into the BetFair System via your BetFair Account.
The free trial will continue until the Robot has accumulated £100 of profit for you, at which point you are invited to take one of the paying monthly subscriptions. The cheapest package currently stands at £60 per month.
For the purpose of this exercise I will audit trail, on a daily basis, the bets that the Robot makes and the resulting outcome.
The horses that are backed are normally quite high priced selections so there are days where no winning trades are found. However, since the prices of the winning horses can be as high as 50.0, there is no need to panic too much.
The trades are placed approximately five minutes before the start of the race and potentially different users could achieve different prices. For the purpose of this exercise I will report exactly what appears in my BetFair Account on a daily basis. All winnings will be subject to the normal 5% deduction.
I am not sure whether the Robot is male or female, but in the meantime I will go away and practise my chat up lines for Robots……

Remember that these are the prices on my BetFair Account which were placed five minutes before the off.
For example…Our one and only winning selection was Flying Applause where we got a price of 13.50 even though it went onto get a BFSP of 7.96.

I think the Robot started to get a bit “depressed” after it had 31 losses in a row……So for a treat, I have promised him/her that I will download the latest Microsoft Updates for it, which happens to be Internet Explorer8. I hope this will cheer it up.

Well I guess it is all about having confidence in your “Bot”……
Fortunately, we are playing with just £2 trades here, so it is not too stressful.
We start the day with 24 LOSING trades. This now means we have had 55 losing trades in a row. At this point I threaten to throw the PC cum Robot out of the window.
It responds with a winner!
Another 10 losers go by.
Then another winner. However, it appears that I have had a bit of ”Bad Luck” on this one. The results website reports “Baikaline” in the 8:55 at Aintree as a 31.50 WINNER. I notice that the BFSP recorded is 26.0 so I am feeling very pleased. I now look at my BetFair Account to find that the trade went through on my account at a price of 18.0.
On closer analysis of the software that I run, I observe that Baikaline was trading at a price of 32.0 with 5 Minutes and 20 seconds to go before the start of the race. My trade was submitted with 5 Minutes to go before the off. At this point the market dipped to 18.0.
I know that at the end of the day that it is all “Swings and Roundabouts”……However, this one feels more like a “Slide” to me…..A very steep slide……Downwards.

I have just noticed that our first winner where we traded with a price of 14.5 with “Moscow Mo Chuisle” returned a BFSP of 33.89!
This appears to be happening on most of the selections. That is to say that my traded price is BELOW the final BFSP. All I can imagine is that people are anticipating that this “Bot” is submitting trades at BFSP and are leaving “Lay at BFSP” trades in, hoping for some value.
The good news is that, according to the “News Section”, the next release of the software will have a feature whereby you can take the BFSP. Mind you, I think that is only when you are NOT filled with your initial placing trade.

Then we get a WINNER with “More Equity” in the 16:10 at Hexham. The price recorded for me is 21.0 with the BFSP also coming in at 21.0

The good news for me was that the electrical storm that hit my area took out my Internet connection which terminated the “Robot”. During this time, it was not able to submit any losing trades.
The other good news is that the new release of software allows you to take the BFSP. On the “Todays Selections” page one can evaluate the best strategy. It appears that it is really “Swings and Roundabouts” at the moment whether it is better to take the BFSP or not….Or in my case “Slides”….Downwards. Mind you, whilst the Robot is losing, it does not matter what strategy you take….Apart from pray that there are more thunderstorms tomorrow……

I guess we have given this one a good go……
Maybe we should continue for a few more months since the nature of these kinds of systems is that you will have bad months since the strike rate is so low and it only needs a few high priced winners to come along and you would be laughing.

Well, at least you get the general idea of this system. Lots of losing trades but the occasional big win.
We will put it in NOT RECOMMENDED for the time being.
I have been testing this for the past week and am showing a slight loss. Early days yet.
The system rrecords the price 5 mins before the off, almost always the actual odds you get are much lower!
Only time will tell, but the cost of the service could eat into any profit.
Do they bet some sort of system, or it seems they are firing off random high price bets. Almost like the other backing high odds system you have been testing but to no avail except this time they automate it so you personally have no emotion in backing those bets. However seeing all those losers on your account cant be doing your confidence any good either.Its a question of when those biggies come in?
It seems a bit stupid if the bot places all the bets for members at the same time. However, if this is right then I think I will be trading these selections and making good money on that :_)
Could this be a good lay robot system?
I subscribed for a free trial (one week) and it did make profits, however, as mentioned above, I worked out that the cost of subscription was not financially viable – especially when they have break-even months. The cost of service plus potential returns do not stack up in the medium to long term.
You would have to have a strong stomach to lay at such big prices – however winners are few and far between so it may be worth a punt.
Because this has such high peaks and troughs I think you can operate 2 banks one for laying and one for backing. once the backing has hit say £100 you stop betting the back bank and once the laying has hit £100 you also stop laying. So theres profit for both, then you restart it again and do the same thing? so whichever bank hits £100 first then stop that bank and continue with the other bank until profit is made? then restart. it may be better to even reduce targets say £50? would this work?
You would have to watch their auto bot all day to know when and what to back. I mainly back, so I’m not sure how it would stack up?
are you only using £2 bets, surely your bank must be wiped clean by now admin? Losing £300 plus with only £2 bets is not my idea of a safe system. I think most people would have given up by now.

I take it that the test for this has ended? The odd big hit winner doesn’t seem to compensate for the massive losses and thats only with £2 bets. Not recommended then?
I really liked the idea of this, but alas, it appears to be a load of old crap.
I wonder if anyone was on Robobets Vulcan plan. They’d be 11k down for this month alone at BSP. Even more if they’d taken prices!!

I think the least Robobets could do would be to refund the monthly fee, when there is a losing month.

Ha! – No surprises there then. It just goes to show that any new system / approach to gambling needs to be monitored safely – preferably on paper only for at least 6 months. The ones that tend to stack up have been doing it for years usually.
