The owner of Punters Profits has given me the opportunity to test his tipster service since he is sure that we will like it. I find it very interesting since the results so far has been very very good and therefore we put it to the test to see if we will get the same results. Here you get all selections per email so it really can’t be much easier
What is PuntersProfits?
I think the easiest thing is to let the owner describe the service so here you have a bit of information about Puntersprofits:
“At Punters Profits we pride ourselves on making consistent profits week in week out. You can expect to increase to your betting bank by 30% per month and quite often much more. There will be days where we don’t win but overall you will make excellent profits.
We provide you with a list of selections each day of with an average of 5 qualifying bets per day, these will be sent to you via email the night before the day’s races. The weekend selections may on occasions be sent on the same day as the races but we endeavour to get them to you by 1.00pm.
We set an upper odds limit of 6.0, this has proven over time to give a good strike rate and minimize losses when they occur.
The choice is yours whether you bet to a liability of 5% of your betting bank or level stake at 1%. Once you have decided which method you prefer, calculate your stake as follows:
Level Stakes = (betting bank / 100 = stake per bet)
Liability = (betting bank / 20 = liability per bet)
For example if you had £1000 as your betting bank you would stake £10 per bet level staking, or £50 per bet liability.
If you were to encounter losing bets initially which cause your bank to drop below its starting point, do not reduce your stakes, keep them at the same level, you are working to a percentage of your initial bank. You may decide to invest some / all of your profits into your bank if this is the case you can recalculate your percentage when you feel it is necessary. Some choose to double their stake when they double there bank, some choose to up the stakes every week / month.
Our results show that liability betting at 5% is more profitable than 1% level stakes but the ROI (return on investment) is less – in fact, according to our previous results, you would have made 68% more profit with liability but staked 90% more.
The time at which you place your bets is entirely up to you. If you choose to bet to liability, a very easy way to do this is to use Betfair SP and set the max odds to 6.0, this can be done at any time of the day. We place all of our lays within one minute of the official start time and those are the odds that we will record for our results sheet.”
Putting Punters profits to a test
I will test Puntersprofits for at least one month to see how it goes. I will be using Betfair SP in this test since everyone then will get the same results.
I really look forward to give a review on Punters Profits since it’s the first tipster service that we are testing.

UPDATE 17th November - Final review of Punters Profits
I have now tested Punters Profits for almost 2 months but have decided to stop now since it has just kept getting worse. My results are a little different since I have tested to Betfair SP while they use the odds 1 minute before race start.
I will put it in NOT RECOMMENDED since it has performed very very bad. It is a little funny that these systems which publish a lot of positive results before they went live always start to lose money when they get proofed. I could wish that they started to proof their selections to Racing-Index which will give them some positive notes from me
Another thing I don’t like is that they sometimes lay more than 1 horse in a race. I think it gives more value just to lay the worse horse in the race even though there maybe are 2 horses with a slim chance of winning. It is also very difficult to win in the long run with so many selections since it’s very important to get good value and there are not very many value lay bets each day. Generally speaking Lay systems with few selections gives a lot more profit than the ones with many selections.
On a positive note I have to say that the man behind Punters Profits has been very friendly and I’m sure you will get nice answers if you have any questions.
If they start to proof to racing-index then I will of course keep following this tipster and change the oppinion if results starts to go the right way.

This test will be performed by me
I will back test to the recommended staking plans when I’m finished with the test. Right now we just do level stakes sine that is the easiest
But so far 2 good days.
I am on this as well (started 2nd October). However, the two losing horses I only managed to lay at 2.17 and 2.30. Betfair SP only seems to allow you to set Liability and not level stakes.
Any advice on getting better prices?
Many thanks
Hi Simon,
It’s true that Betfair SP only allows you to place liability bets. However, sometime you will experience that you get better prices than SP and other times the other way around. In the long run it should even out.
I just run the test with level stakes at Betfair SP since it’s the easiest way to test it where everyone can get the same odds. I’m not parting with any money yet.
I will make a calculation to the different staking plans recommended when test is over
Good luck with it
I’ve been checking Punters profits website and your results do mirror their selections; although yesterday they have shown Torpichen as a losing bet, was this one missed?
Ken=> I do the test to Betfair SP while Puntersprofits make their results based on the odds 60secs before the race.
I can see that Torpichen had a regular SP of 4.00 but the Betfair SP was 6.80 (a whooping 84% over SP odds). I believe that the result on their website is correct, but I do the test to betfair SP so it was a no bet for me
Gentlemen, don’t check Punters Profits’ website for results, just go to Racing-Index.com. They may be in profit in October, but since proofing to Racing-Index in mid-May to the end of September they were down a lazy 75 points - NO PROFIT! If you proceed to subscribe to a tipping service based on their results posted on their website, then (ah well) you have no one else to blame but yourself if things go pear shape.
Buck=> It looks like they include more bets on their proofing at racing-index than the ones in their main system. It can be that they include the bonus bets, which I’m not testing. If you compare the selections I receive from them (the main system) you can see that it’s not the same system, and therefore we can’t use racing index to very much, other than conclude that they also can lose us money if they actually advised these bets.
Hope the owner of the service will clarify the difference, and why he has decided to post more runners to racing-index????
Hi there
I have noticed the comments regarding our results on Racing Index so i just thought i’d write a quick note to explain things.
Firstly we started proofing to RI before they introduced Betfair SP as an option. They decided to bring it in and although I thought it a good idea at the time I didn’t realise the mess it would cause.
When it was starting to be used, a tipster could only use standard SP to proof BUT Betfair SP was being used to calculate P / L. This meant that some selections that were over 6.0 (which is our cut off) were still only 5/1 SP. The results therefore became very inaccurate as we were having losing selections at odds of 9.0+ which of course would be a non-qualifier. Within a few weeks we were 20pts+ lower than we should have been.
I contacted RI but they couldn’t rectify it so from then on I didn’t consider it a fair representation of our service.
We now proof all of selections to RI now with no odds cut off but we still advise a cut off of 6.0 to our subscribers.
We do now also include our bonus plan too. This is a new system that is in its early stages so we have invited our subscribers to follow them with us but only to paper trade or use very small stakes until they get a feel for them.
I also have a few concerns with Betfair SP as I have seen that they have at times been a lot higher than the price that was being traded at the final stages before the off.
I will keep an eye on things and try and answer any questions here but you can always get in touch with me via the contact on the website. I answer all emails personally within 24hrs.
Many thanks
Daniel
Punters Profits
Ive been with Punters Profits for a while now and the Racing Index query was pressed on elsewhere on the web. The reason being that RI proof all results and will not set a cap level. In PPs case it is 6.0 yet RI list every selection therefore the Racing Index figures are well & truly incorrect.
I am led to believe that their results are gathered daily via BetbotPro and all qualifying selections are bet on around 1min or 20secs before the off time.
I myself use BBP at 20secs and my results invariably mirror those that PP post on their sheet give or take a tick.
Its an honest & reliable service from Daniel & Stonkin (whoever he is).
As for the Bonus bets, they are something else they have followed over a period of time & then decided to share them with subscribers. Sods law took hold soon after but overall profits are good. Up to today anyway!
Thats my view on PP.
thanks
Jim
There is a mistake in results for 23nd October at 3.05 Brighton. Rocker finished second so it’s not a lost bet..
Daniel=> Sorry my mistake
Now it should be right
Thanks for looking after me hehe
I dont know where the loss of 1579 has come from……….i followed every selection under the recommended odds limit and finished the month £80 down @ £100 stakes.
I was thinking the same thing Jim.
Even using BFSP shouldn’t make that much difference.
Hi Jim,
Admin is testing using BetfairSP not exactly same as Puntersprofit shows. Their results are also genuine but you get different picture when you place at BetfairSP. There sre few selections won (horse loss) at odds of 6.0 but only if u place bet 60 sec before the off where as they might be not even max odd range of 6 at BetfairSP and admin couldnt get those selections as he is testing at BetfairSP. I am also following Puntersprofit selections from last 1 month and i do get the same selections as Punterprofits website with same odds.
