I got this email from one of all the readers at this blog and am happy to post it since this site is about helping other punters not to lose money on systems or tipsters. If anyone else has information like this then please send it to me so no one else will get cheated.

If you are the promoter of this product and think that anything stated here is unfair then let me know and I will look into it since we want honest oppinions both good or bad!

The email from some guy who feel that Max Redd and Reddracing is NOT RECOMMENDED:

Hi

You or your readers may be interested in the system (www.reddracing.co.uk) which relies on someone called Max Redd supplying daily selections (backs and lays) with stated odds to which you should adhere; ie Max states the minimum back odds and minimum lay odds but of course if you can achieve better then great. If you cannot obtain the odds then you should NOT bet.

You are entitled to try the system for one week for nothing as I did and I hit a “lucky” week.

I retained detailed records, showing the points won or lost according to the stated odds. These results over a period of about two months showed consistent losses. I compared these with the results compared over the same period on their web-site which somehow showed consistent profits. I enquired why was there such a difference , quoting specific examples where a horse which (for example) they said I should lay at 3.5 or less, they showed that they had laid it at say 2.2; and conversely, some horses which had to be backed only at say 4.2 or above, had won at, say 7.0. Therefore their results page were calculated with the benefit of hindsight.

I pointed out to them that their results assumed that punters knew which way the odds were going to travel when the selections were received in the morning and therefore this was just a gamble – For example, on receipt of a selection, I could decide to see if the price at which to back increased, then find that the price hardened by which time I could not get the minimum price which they stated. The best thing I could do, it seemed to me, was to get the price stated (or better if possible) at the time the selections came through. If I did not then surely it was a lottery as to whether or not the price of the particular nag either hardened or drifted. They had the effrontery to say that their results were based on an average of the prices achieved by a select consortium of betters !!! I pointed out this

So this system is a complete joke – even when I received emails to say that their VIP was going through a purple patch, (when in fact it showed 4 or 5 losers in a row) they said that I should measure the success by reference to the whole year’s results and would not provide me with details of their VIP winners to date.

All in all a great big con and I would not recommend that anyone be taken in by their outward appearance. This is a bit surprising too because I think the site is promoted by SkyBlueKangaroo.

Hope this helps

I was a member of Max Redds daily service from September last year until xmas. I too was not always able to get the same results as on his web site, but sometimes (not often) I got even better prices. I am lucky in that I play Betfair all afternoon and I can judge markets pretty well, which I guess not everyone can. Nonetheless I made a reasonable return overall, definitely not a loss. I swapped to his VIP service after xmas, which I have to say is excellent by comparison. Sure they are losing runs, you shouldn’t join a service and not expect losing runs. What is important is long term profits, and I for one shall not be complaining any time soon.

Oh dear, how hard it is to find out the true worth of any tipping service. It would appear to me that the only way to get a true reflection as to profitability would be to take all advised bets at sp, i wonder if there is anybody who can show these figures. I am sure there must be profitable tipsters out there … but i have yet to find any of them

keep well clear of max redd and his {profitable racing service} yeah, right!
this guy is just another rip off merchant,if you dont believe me just try it like i did for 60 days for £137 guarenteed if you dont make profit.
well guess what? surprise surprise,no profit and mega losses and no guarenteed money back, even paid by paypal, but they wont guarentee money back on information emailed.so my advice is dont bother giving your money to scammers like this, they are worse than vultures,i can and have picked more winners out myself than this fella.
