Many of you have probably heard about Lay The Draw soccer system before and thought that they have found a sure fire way to earn extra money betting on soccer. Lay the draw soccer systems sells for up to £250 and say that you can earn thousands each year. Lay the Draw system was actually the first system I ever bought and it was the reason I started to believe that you actually can earn lots of extra money on betting.

Lay the Draw system explained (many different versions available)

1) You lay the draw in a soccer match (the match needs to go in play)

2) Eventually take insurance by backing 0-0

3) Back the draw when a goal has been scored and the draw odds hopefully are higher than what you layed it to. Now you have a green book where you win money no matter what.

4) If there has not been a goal scored after 75 minutes (or when odds on the draw reaches 2.0 then you should trade out and back the draw with everyting you have standing as a “green amount”. If any goals are scores in the last 15 minutes you win nothing and lose nothing.

This system worked great when I started using it but in the last couple of years it has been a lot harder since the draw does not go up so much in odds after a goal has been scored. This means that if you want this system to work you need to be very selective with the games you play.

Most people will get a lot out of taking the insurance bet since this should make the system break even if no goals are scored and you don’t need to trade out at any point. The problem arises then only when the under-dog scores first since this mostly means that the odds on the draw falls since people expect the favourite at least to score to get a draw.

What you can do to optimize your chances of success with lay the draw soccer system

1) Only lay the draw in games where there are no clear favourite

2) Only lay the draw in games where you can back 0-0 for odds 16 or more

3) Only lay the draw in gameswhere lots of goals are expected. You can do your own research or you can look at the market “over - under 2.5 goals”. If the odds are lower for over 2.5 goals you can see that most punters think that this will be a game with lots of goals.

4) Remember to trade out when it does not go your way. And remember also to trade out when a goal has been scored, don’t wait too long so you risk to loose it all.

5) Only lay the draw under 4 in odds (maybe smaller, try yourself)

Conclusion of Lay the draw system

I actually still use this system with some small modifications, but only on very few games and not very often. It’s not a sure fire way to earn money and I know that 95% of people using lay the draw are loosing money. There are lots of books on the market with lay the draw information and with some different strategies. I don’t believe any of them gives you 100% sure information to win money, they are all based on the system above.

Another way to add a bit more profit is to only place your back bet when the odds reach 8.0 or higher, most people back as soon as the odds rise, by doing this the profits are far to small per bet, patience is the key.

it also helps to research the 2 teams playing.

A great way of doing this is to go to http://www.h2hstats.com, here you can view all the matches the teams have played against each other in the past, if say theyve played 8 times and only drawn twice, and the team hasnt changed that much, there a better chance of them not drawing.

    Hope that helps some people.
