The Betfair loopholesystem is a new system which you probably have received advertising for in emails if you have previously bought some horseracing systems. Bfloopholesystem claims to have turned £100 into £1123 in 7 days and should be designed for people working 9 to 5.

The advertising page of the BFloopholesystem is as always designed to get lots of sales from people who wants to earn easy money. I must say that I have not had my hands on this product yet (if anyone has it then please send me your oppinion and help other punters to know if it’s worth anything).

The things I can see from the advertising is that this system is about trading on Betfair which is a good thing because I believe that this is the best form of making a steady income, the problem is that they make it sound so easy, and I can guarantee you that it will not be easy. If it was very easy and they actually won a lot of money trading with this system I don’t think they would sell it.

UPDATE 7th MAY - What is included in BF loopholesystem ?

The funny thing is that they have some pictures about how much profit they made on England vs Australia so you should think that they will tell you how they got that. However, Betfair loophole system is only a system about Greyhounds and about laying favourite dogs or trading out as they recommend.

I have now spoken with more people who have tried Betfair loopholesystem

I can’t find a single one which has had good results with this system. I also don’t believe it works since the Betfair market on Greyhounds are so small that if this system really worked it would fast be worthless because too many punters wanted to lay the same dog. It goes (not surprisingly) in the NOT RECOMMENDED folder. Save your money :-) As LEE says in our comment field - This system has NOTHING to do with a loophole in Betfair, that is just a “smart” marketing trick.

UPDATE 2ND AUGUST 2008

I Just received an email from a fellow punter who has taken some time to run the results through some back testing. It does not change my view of the system being a “not recommended” system but is still interested reading.

Email received underneath:

____________________________________________

I have only just come across your site and having seen your review of the BF Loophole greyhound racing system I thought I could maybe help, hence this e-mail.

I know it is in your Not Recommended list but I wanted to kinda defend it slightly. And no, I don’t have any ulterior motive for doing so – I’m not connected to the publishers in any way whatsoever.

I bought this system a few months back and was initially disappointed. The eBook doesn’t reveal any great loophole at all and is just a laying technique for greyhounds, which are low liquidity markets at the best of times, especially compared to UK horseracing. However, I figured I would do some testing of the system and see how it went first. I started with small stakes and things didn’t go too well – I registered a few losing days and lost a few quid in following the system. Then I decided to stop using real money and to test the system from a different angle.

I wrote an Excel-based application to download the greyhound results from the start of 2007, identify the selections according to the rules of the system and to calculate the strike rate and profit/loss per month. To calculate the profit/loss I took the SP of the qualifier, added 15% to mimic the Betfair overround in low liquidity markets, calculated the stake based on losing 1pt per winning dog and then factored in 5% commission. The results to the middle of July 2008 are shown below:

So the strike rate is around 70% on average, and doesn’t fluctuate too much away from that in any given month. Over the period analysed there were 7 losing months and 12 winning months. The results shown are in points so if you were prepared to risk £10 per race then you can multiply all the profit/loss figures by £10.

So it is profitable but is it worth it? I ditched the system because I couldn’t be at the PC all the time as one needs to be to identify the Betfair market favourite in these races. Also the return on investment wasn’t worth it in my opinion. With 47378 races and the possibility of losing 1pt in each race we are risking 47378pts to win 302.57 for a ROI of just 0.64%, which is pitiful for the time and effort involved in running this system.

So while I wouldn’t recommend the system I thought I should let you know that it can be profitable. Of course, with lower commission rates and a smaller overlay (ie getting closer to SP) the profits increase.

Also I asked for a refund on this system from the supplier and to my surprise I got it!

Hope that helps you anyway. Maybe you can edit this down and share it with your readers if you see fit.

If you have any questions as to how the data was gathered etc please ask.

Thanks

Mat

i will buy this if its half decent , it seems like the answer to all our prayers, but nothing can be that good surely? and if it is why would you sell it?

  3. admin on May 7th, 2008 12:22 pm

Hey I’m NOT selling it I’m trying to give people an honest oppinion about the system. I have not bought it since it comes from the seller of thousands of worthless systems and I don’t believe it works. I’m waiting to hear from someone what they think, untill then I won’t recommend you buy it.

  4. Lee Waterhouse on May 7th, 2008 1:39 pm

It’s certainly not a loophole as the website describes but just another greyhound laying technique. I tried it on all greyhound races yesterday according to the criteria given and ended up £22 down. Trying again today and I’m already £55 down with no sign of making any kind of profit.

It may work long term but I wouldn’t expect to gain anywhere near as much as it says on the website.

It is not for 9-5ers at all because you have to be at the computer just before each race. (unless you only do the evening racing)

They also try to sell you a tipping service that isn’t up and running yet.

So all in all I would not recommend this as a “Loop hole” in betfair, just another laying greyhound technique.

Thank you for your comment Lee :-) I have tried it with small stakes the last 3 races with success but I also have my doubts and think I will stop for now. The problem will also soon arise IF it worked that there are simply not enough liqudity on the greyhound market to support a lot of followers for this system.

  6. admin on May 7th, 2008 1:48 pm

now I lost and am also in minus (but played at minimum stakes) T think this will be it with this system :-)

  7. dave on May 7th, 2008 7:46 pm

thanks gents, you just saved me fifty quid!

  8. admin on May 7th, 2008 8:01 pm

Dave=> I’m glad to help you cause this is only going to lose people money. Good luck with your betting anyway :-)

  9. Debbie on May 8th, 2008 2:44 pm

I also tried it and lost- there is no loophole and it just basically tells you to lay favourites then goes on to explain which races to skip.

I followed it to the letter and lost half my bank. Not even bothering again- think I will hang onto the other half.

I have just received an email from the seller saying to get in quick as the price will go up tonight! Jeez- some people have no scruples.

  10. admin on May 8th, 2008 4:46 pm

They also wrote an email to all the people who have not bought it about how much they won yesterday where I tested it and lost a lot (on papaer). I wrote to ask for a copy of their betfair account with all the plays and profit but have of course not received anything. But don’t worry next week they have a new useless system printed out…

  13. lee fraser on May 9th, 2008 3:20 pm

sorry i’m talking about the loop hole system, in the 1st part.
but the 3 lays are part of his tipster service, that he offers for £40/month.

here are the 3 for 9th may

Betfair loophole is a total waste of time in my opinion.

Funny thing is prior to giving you this system based around laying all the favourites the writer actually admits you will lose money if you just consistently lay the favourite.

It’s 35 pages long but only 9 pages are actually about the system. The rest is twoddle and is just used to fill up the book.

  15. Paul Tapley on May 20th, 2008 2:38 pm

Load of crap this system eaten half my bank already in two days, perhaps backing the favourites instead should make more money!

  16. admin on May 20th, 2008 2:40 pm

Your absolutely right. This is worthless junk. Someone should actually take them to court for Fraught. It’s sad when people are obviously taking advantage of other peoples desire to win money.

  17. Cilla on May 21st, 2008 2:05 pm

It’s easy, I did when I bought this con mans crap last year. Please do it - all of you! He does not deserve a penny.

Sorry I used the “website” as a headline.

Here is the headline: Get your money back from Clickbank

Worse system I have bought yet. He mentions he gives refunds but I have requested on many occasions and nothing back. This is a total scam.
