Well, if I was running a service like that I'd take the 185 pounds per month subscription plus all the 'banks' provided by members and put it all, every penny, in a high-interest account. The last thing I'd do was actually place the cash on Betfair.

If a few punters get itchy and want to withdraw their 'profits' I'd pay out from the banked funds and calculate their 'winnings' from Betfair figures.

Odds are that within 6 months that killer run would occur and "Oops - you've all lost your bank".

Of course the punter thinks it all went to the lucky guy on Betfair that got it right that day, but in fact it's still in that high-interest account.

Now if I'd actually placed it on Betfair on your behalf it would be your risk - and you lost. No problem.

If it's in that bank account it's plain and simple theft and a jail sentence is in order.

Does anyone ever have any proof the bets were actually placed?

Of course 125bets and autolays are the same people. i lost a lot of money with 125bets and they use the same betting bot to place punters bets. Coincidence...not. 125bets use to be backing and now they just use their selections for laying because their backing got so bad. they are not taking on new members because they have no more members after such a horrendous June and then again in August! you will see that 125bets have not updated their results page since July so obviously not trading anymore. STAY AWAY they are con merchants.
